  1. Early pre-season talk was the Freshman was going to start and the only film I watched was Boonville. Coached against the freshman a couple times...very familiar with him. I think just about every team has taken some sort of Covid hit. We are indeed lucky here in Indiana.
  2. The freshman is the starter.
  3. Because data driven only ranking aren't flawed. 😏
  4. To my knowledge nothing has changed yet.
  5. Mt. Vernon could force a potential 3 way tie in the Big School Division this week.
  6. There is a canopy now.
  7. All I can say is some of the best videoing ever was taking place at the Jungle. Titan32 and Herecomestheboom doing fantastic work!
  8. Thanks!
  9. I thought you guys had been streaming home games?
  10. The flexbone would be a triple option offense.
  11. Is there a live stream tonight for GS/HH?
  12. Totally agree...that is why expected more talk. I’ll start...the Titans know where their deficiencies have been and have been working hard to correct them. I expect a very angry Titan football team on Friday night.
  13. Not much banter this week for several interesting match ups within the conference!
  14. 8th grade GS 50 Southridge 24
  15. GS JV 30 - Southridge JV 0
  16. 1 full time 3 part time guys give or take.
  17. It is true that over aggressive contact tracing has had a bigger impact than positive cases. Honest question, does anyone here actually know a kid who was contact traced out of school that actually became a positive case? Given that because of the fact you can't get a test to get out of the 14 day jail sentence, that the state HD is actually incentivizing kids to NOT get tested. No logical reason why that after 5-6 days of last exposure/contact that kids can't provide a negative test to get back into school/extracurriculars. Almost as nuts is the fact the IHSAA hasn't modifed its 4 and 6 day return to practice rules at least for the "year of covid". Fully aware that some health departments in the state have allowed "quarantined" practices in an effort to give kids a chance at getting back to play asap. It's a sad day when you need help from the health department to circumvent inaction by the IHSAA.
  18. Having seen film on both and one in person...I respectfully yet passionately disagree. Although losing #74 is a MAJOR impact on both sides of the ball.
  19. Boonville big in this one...even without #74.
  20. I stay away from OOB as well. It’s best people don’t know your politics on a football discussion page...there is already enough to dislike about each other LOL.
  21. Twitter version for those who don’t have FB. https://twitter.com/evsc1/status/1306329511064080384?s=21
  22. I really enjoyed him as well. Hope all is well.
  23. Looks like no one will get the same Boonville GS got last Friday. Word on the street is that #74 has quit. It may have been because of issues out of his control so I really feel for this kid. He was a beast on both sides of the ball.
  24. All great points with youth leagues, new North location etc. I would add that all the expansion in Evansville is on the North side and it is growing like crazy....pushing farther and farther north. I think North has a young talented and energetic coaching staff as well. The revolving coaching door at Central hasn't seemed to matter much. I feel like what North is building (at least for now) looks more sustainable than Central to me. I also agree on Castle under achieving based on it's enrollment and type of community from which to draw from.
  25. I was just trying to jab at Boomer....don't read too much into it. LOL
