As if enrollment is the way high schools “should” be classified for sports in Indiana. Intelligent minds can disagree but I tend to go with the data that when it comes to P&Ps....it doesn’t matter much or at a minimum as much as it does with publics. Say by a factor(multiplier) of “x”? 😁

For schools with basically full time face to face school the issue is that it’s impossible to sit kids more than six feet apart. If Jenny calls in sick and says she had a positive Covid test, every kid who sat within a 6 feet radius of her in every class (mask or not). Is automatically out of a school for 14 days from last known contact with Jenny, regardless if you can produce a negative test or not. 14 days no matter what...unless you test positive in which case the quarantine is only 10 days out of school. Then once you return to school if you have missed 10 or fewer planned practices you need 4 practices before you can participate in a game. If you missed 11 or more planned practices you need 6 practices to return to play.

Although this was an impressive run against a less than stellar run defense.

Similar to Southridge I’m sure. I watched the entire game. Unless those 3 missing Olineman make a huge difference. It won’t be even be remotely close to the running game we have seen in games one and two.

It might be a way for both teams to buy some time...and if it doesn’t work out they still have a game.

GS will now play Boonville week 4 (North Knox canceled on Boonville) This will be a conference game. GS and Boonville will also play their regularly scheduled game (week 9) as a non-conference game.

I don’t know if an offer was made to change venue. I believe these contracts are typically written with a $2000.00 penalty for cancellation.

It’s off. Southport called to cancel. GS working hard to find a game. It sure looks as if they simply don’t want to make the drive.

I know even less than you. Just thought it seemed odd not to release a kid who isn't in your conference or sectional and who has never lived in your district. I would have thought they would have notified the AD/coach....if not like you say...that is a concern. Maybe the punishment is the real issue here...again I don't know.

Thanks to COVID and no other reason. And so far knock on wood...things have worked out splendidly.

I have no detail on the exact reasons....it feels a bit like a cop out....but again not fair for me to say not having much detail.

Southport can not come to GS and play week 4 for some COVID related reason of some sort.

Whoever Boonville had on the Oline...the Oline play was not good. Obviously give some credit to the SR D on that.

Yeah...not sure how Princeton should be favored....but, wondering if Princeton can hang for a while. I'm not completely sold on MV just yet.

So if SR is 4 TDs better than TC does that make SR 9 TD's better than HH? Asking for a friend.
