  1. In my opinion yes to the first statement. Truthfully don't know what you mean by the second, when did I say or infer that they belong to the state, not sure what you mean by they either, are we talking about the schools or the students?
  2. When explained like this I can understand and support the non transfer idea. The way I see it though, p/p's don't have a true elementary or middle school most times than not. So when they come from a "feeder school" that they still have options on where to go and they choose a p/p, I see that as them transferring in as freshman. Others may not see it that way but that's what I see it as. Again I understand many especially those more linked to p/p's don't see it that way but just my opinion on the matter.
  3. Okay, so explain to me how the feeder school works. Because from my understanding, most p/p's don't have their very own feeder. The feeder school can go to multiple p/p schools in an area. Also may just be a coincidence, but every time those 4 or 5 transfers come into a p/p, they end up being some of the best players on the team. Might just be a coincidence tho.
  4. If teams win state in a two year period (at least in the lower classes) its because they have a really special player on their team or a special class that wins it usually around their Junior year. Rather than letting them coast through another state championship, and then letting the poor underclassmen who have to fill those huge shoes in the next class happen, I think if you win a state championship you should just bump to the next class for the following year. Keep the rest of the success factor in place, because I honestly I think for the most part it works, but just add that little piece. Yes you will have to reclassify every year and realign but if it balances out competition and the classes I think its worth it.
  5. Yes, 2011 would be correct for the picture because I was actually wrong. Danny's senior year was the 2011 football season, not the 2012 year.
  6. The 2012 team would have been Jackson's brother Danny. Never had to play those LCC teams with the ghost on it. Grew up watching them though. If I had a choice between the two I'm not sure there is a right answer on which team you want to play against between the 2012 team and the 2015 team.
  7. He hasn't touched this thread yet, my mama says you might be safe!
  8. Honestly, the coolest part of the story is the kids commitment. Commitment to his home town, teammates, and coaches. His commitment to a MAC school when he could've gone to a more prestigious school by the sounds of it. His leadership on and off the field. I've watched a few of Triton Centrals games on IHSAATV. The kids a very talented QB and football player. It sounds like his character and who he is as a person is going to take him even farther in life.
  9. No bong, just pure busch light running through these veins. And I'm okay with you calling my post nonsense. Just wait till after all the privates in 2A, 4A, and 6A are eliminated before you do it
  10. Cathedral by 100, and then the rest of the games don't matter because Cathedral is gonna win the rest of them after that. And then all the other private schools are gonna win their classes like they always do. Except for 5A cause there aren't any in the class. In fact since 2015 the only private to win 5A was Cathedral. The lowest number of private school wins in a class since 2015. Hmmm the only private in 5A runs through it for two years. Coincidence...I THINK NOT!!! All the private schools must just have more tackling fuel than the rest of these public schools have anymore.
  11. My momma said if it weren't for Indianapolis Tech, the independent conference would be the best in the state top to bottom.
  12. I know you didn't, and I also know where the other guy was coming from. It just rubs me the wrong way when it got mentioned by someone earlier in the conversation that Memorial is playing in 4A with an enrollment smaller than most of the 3A's left in the tournament. Not a lot of other 3A schools left in the tournament, other than Chatard, has 55 players on their team and that is probably including freshman. I applaud Memorial for maintaining their success factor and staying up in 4A, where they belong in my opinion. Yes they are 3A school enrollment, but football enrollment they are 4A if you know what I mean. 55 non-freshman players...never experienced a practice with that many but I bet it'd be freakin awesome.
  13. They have 76 players on their roster if Maxpreps is correct. How could they possibly be out-manned?
  14. I wanna see Cathedral win this game, and then win the next 2 6A state championships. And then I want everyone to get on board with putting the private schools in their own playoffs together. But I usual don't get what I want, so my guess is Ben Davis is gonna win.
  15. Very true, only a sophomore, a lot more football in front of him. Plummer has been playing since he was a freshman and now is a senior. The game just slows down so much for those types of guys by the time they get to that senior year.
  16. I was on it for the entire 48 minutes and warmups. Like playing on a golf fairway! Also got to play on it two or three times against Coy Cronk and Jackson Anthrop! Don't have a lot of good memories stepping onto LaRocca lol
  17. True, there were a lot of ifs for the Zebras that would have them playing right now, the pick thrown in the first half inside the red zone didn't help either. The holding call at the end of the third quarter was in my opinion the biggest killer for the Zebras. It hurt even more when it was sent to the crew from that night and we were told they missed that call. OUCH! But at the end of the day, the Knights made big plays when they needed to to advance. Which is what I think they will do against Laville as well. If you haven't watched Laville play a lot of Plummer's yards passing in my opinion come off of either the athleticism of his receivers going and getting the football over a defender, or him using his legs to stay alive in the pocket to either scramble for yards or wait for someone to get open. Either way he's not really your typical drop back passer and staying in the pocket doesn't play to his strengths in my opinion.
  18. Laville caught Andrean on a perfect night. Light rain, torn up field, really leveled the athleticism advantage I think Andrean had over Laville. I don't think Laville will be getting that lucky this week.
  19. Delta looks like they go single back with a mix of formations. Multiple tight end sets. A wing at times. They will spread it out and go out of the gun as well. Coming out of arguably top to bottom worst sectional of 3A I'd say. A lot of people had heritage probably winning this sectional. Sounds bad being the regional, but this will probably be the easiest of the four games Chatard will have played so far this playoffs. 3A North*
