  1. Surprised Harrison didn't utilize #81 more from TE position tonight. Kid is a beast and could really help sustain drives and run clock, which seemed to be part of the HHS game plan. Would fit well in our O for sure.
  2. Castle, Memorial, Harrison, Mater Dei, Jasper.
  3. Then Hendrix Magley's team might have negative points. Mike Goebel is usually between the numbers and the hash. LOL.
  4. Don't overlook Mater Dei in the South. They have room to improve in the trenches and in the secondary, but give Mike Goebel another month and the Wildcats will be a very tough out in 2A.
  5. Reitz is a 60 point favorite? LOL. With those lines, I would take: Central to cover (I think it would be a BAD political move for Coach Brunson / Reitz to beat the EVSC AD's former school that bad Castle and the points with VL ML MD and the points (is Jasper still short-handed? Their O looked worse than ours in Wk. 2) sprinkle North to cover Memorial to cover an alt. spread of -16 for the Uncle Buck big payday of the year
  6. I'm curious as to how that is possible? I get (and welcome) refs being more lax on penalties in a lower level (MS, frosh, etc.) game, but not at the varsity level. Besides, the game was in IN..
  7. Regional. Semi-state would be Roncalli or New Pal.
  8. Reitz by 35 over Central MD over Jasper by 14 Memorial by 21 in the < upset ? > North over Bosse by 27 Lincoln keeps rolling in a FG squeaker over Castle
  9. Can't wait to see Memorial and Reitz at Enlow....
  10. Both have proven to be contenders. It's wise to never get too caught up in the first few weeks. The Tigers still have a player or two to get back, including one on the cover of the IFD. I think we'll be okay as things play out.. MD will be a tough out in 2A.
  11. IMO Reitz's W over Lincoln looks more impressive than the W over Jasper at this point. Sounds as if Jasper was still without some key players. Sectional 24 will be interesting.
  12. No idea, but the RB is Rode. All Memorial needs to do is run the ball.
  13. Magistrate Judge Ryan Reed of the Vanderburgh Circuit Court entered an order this morning reversing the decision of the Ind. Dept. of Education's Case Review Panel upholding the IHSAA's decision to only allow limited eligibility at Memorial until Oct. 29. As a result, this young man will be immediately eligible to play tomorrow night for Memorial in their game against, you guessed it, Evansville Central.
  14. I predict Memorial will score a TD on O this week.
  15. No. You are getting bad info. The judge has not made a decision yet. Cool your jets...
  16. There is always far worse on social media than anyone could ever get from a bunch of geezers on the GID....
  17. Finally getting that post-season title to put on the letter jacket is a lot better than the PAC titles and Hometeam Fridays POW patches, isn't it?
  18. Just to clear up any confusion... There will not be a hearing. The parties (the family and the IHSAA) have filed briefs (overly simplistic description but it suffices) and the judge is expected to make a decision in the next two days as to whether this young man has limited eligibility until Oct. 29 or full eligibility beginning this Friday night.
