  1. They are still solidly in the 1A classification. If not Sheridan then don't pick a town anywhere in the metro area.
  2. Westfield has also led the metro area in housing starts for 2020. Danville/Tri West (Pittsboro) is a good call. Sheridan may be a better call that Hamilton Heights.
  3. Plus the cross over game against the west division. A path is there for 6 wins.
  4. You mean that 3-star recruit from IU?
  5. Rut roh. I doubt da bears are a 1 seed anymore. They aren’t even the best team in their division.
  6. DT doesn’t care about what would happen on the field. It’s all about the stars given a HS player which are often inflated by how many offers one has.
  7. Brings up an interesting question. If memory serves correctly an athlete could play in 3 games and still red shirt. Does that change this year with the decrease in the schedule?
  8. Well that’s going to hold up the 5A tournament! Or maybe you mean 10-30 and 11-6!
  9. IU does not recruit agaisnt KY, they don't play KY, and in fact rarely play any team in the SEC. So it doesn't matter how they compare.
  10. Pennix played like a turd for 58 minutes, then showed that golden arm and the ability to use his feet on the final drive and 2-point conversions. If PSU takes a knee up 21-20 it’s their game, so nobody should say anything about whether that final call was right or wrong. Credit IU’s D, which has never looked better than today. But we must still remember this program is still inferior to Kentucky’s! 🎃🙀😹
  11. The Eyes of Texas are upon you, All the livelong day. The Eyes of Texas are upon you, You cannot get away. Do not think you can escape them At night or early in the morn -- The Eyes of Texas are upon you Til Gabriel blows his horn. As the article states, they object because of who and how the song was performed in the past. The lyrics alone are neither racist nor divisive. Snowflakes indeed.
  12. *This poll is a complete joke*. (someone had to say it) What happened to Larry Central? They were given consideration last week and they only lost 48-0! A joke I say!
  13. I've given Avon plenty of love for the last 20 or so years. They have a dynamic offense this year, but the defense blows. In 2015, we took out Cathedral in 2 OT's in the regional and lost to an undefeated CG squad in 2 OT's on the road for semistate. I'm just glad the 'Rocks are seemingly the new giant in the conference. I doubt we'll ever surpass the MIC in football, or basketball, but as you say with the rest of the sports the HCC is top notch. Take Carmel out of the MIC and there would be no question who's better.
  14. Son, you don't have to lecture me on the history. But, yes you are correct. The fact of the matter is though, last year Avon/Brownsburg were 1 and 3 in the polls. The Burg took Avon out in game 1, then let Zionsville take them out. So the biggest opportunity up to that moment to get through the southern semistate was up in flames. This year until Westfield beat the Burg, we were all waiting for that CG/Burg semistate showdown. Now, not so much. But if Brownsburg can't get by Carmel to even get that far, and then CG handles Westfield at LOS, then the HCC is still the not ready for prime time conference. Yes, Fishers has a state championship. But MIC faithful will argue that it was a down year in 2010, and LC was not in the MIC at that time IIRC, and with the exception of CG and maybe Carmel, the same argument will be given this year.
  15. I know for a fact Eric Moore has his roster on e-learning. Center Grove was on fall break last week, but you can bet those players families didn’t go to Florida!
  16. Congrats to: 6A Westfield 5A runner up in 2013. 5A champion in 2016. Now a solid contender and the sagarin favorite in 6A to represent the north at Lucas Oil. Jake Gilbert is building a powerhouse program. They ran the table in the HCC including an OT win over the pre-season favorite Brownsburg. And it appears he’s doing it like Eric Moore, as football up and down the school system is very successful. 4A Mooresville Only an OT loss to 5A #2 Whiteland has kept them from being #1 or #2 in Sagarin 4A. After Mark Bless moved on to Avon the Pioneers suffered some lean years. Enter a proven winner in Mike Gillen. Only took 1 season to bring that talent back together and give the growing Morgan County town a power to follow. I also expect the 4A south semi-state to be the state champion. And that team will be Mooresville!
  17. A reasonable chance it was a false positive.
  18. What controversy? It could happen. I would think every coach by that time has his entire team e-learning by that point.
  19. Totally agree. Football is back for the Hot Dogs! A winning regular season and a fair shot to knock off Lebanon!
  20. Just verified there were 12,000 at today’s Colt’s game. That makes the numbers even better!
