They should be at the very least a co-favorite in sectional #5 alongside Brownsburg. Burg is #2 and Carmel #3 in 6A Sagarin. I think if Carmel were still in Sect. #4, Westfield would be 1st, then Carroll in Regional, then either Jeff, the Pirates or Elkhart. Thus this is now Westfield’s path to LOS. No one down here will be surprised if the Shamrocks are playing Thanksgiving weekend.

They have more depth than any IU team has had. Playing the gauntlet early is a plus. Rutgers and MD are wins. MSU and PU are probable. PSU has escaped IU the last 2 years and will be looking ahead to OSU when they come to Bloomington. 4-5 or 5-4 is a likely scenario.

If these are the kind of mistakes Cathedral makes against St. X, I can see why they have very few wins in the series. Irish have 2nd and long on their own 25 with under 40 seconds left. RB runs out of bounds instead of staying in to keep the clock moving. But then they choose to throw it over the middle on 3rd and long....... pick 6. Great Good teams don't make those mistakes.
