    FOX is still not sold on IU which is why this is not a 3:30 or prime time game. If IU plays well (or somehow wins this game) then I look for the Wisconsin/IU game to be prime time.

    The score prediction is John Harrell’s, not Sagarin. Sagarin has Chatard 17 points better on a neutral field.

    I’m not sure he can’t recruit a QB, it’s just that he keeps recruiting over the ones he’s got. Sooner or later you get stuck with what you have left and the good ones go elsewhere.

    If this was @ Westfield I’d say 28 because they are that good on both sides of the ball. But @ Merrillville I think maybe the Pirates get a late score for a 14-point margin. 9 points allowed in the post season. Rocks will be in the dome vs CG.

    I’m sure Ohio football snobs (not you Bobref!) will say it’s a 2020 thing, but the fact is their only losses were to Indiana teams..... Brownsburg and Cathedral.

    Anyone who believes this doesn’t value the SAC as a quality conference. Luers has played great competition all season long. The conference may have trouble getting the big schools to advance, but Luers and Concordia benefit greatly come playoff time. I’m not saying Luers should be the favorite, but it will be a hard fought game.

    I think it’s time to entertain a discussion on how Tom Allen and staff coach up 3 star players. I’d guess 8-10 are performing at the 4 star level.

    This game (MSU) seems to be the perfect setup for next week. The defense brought all 4 quarters, but the offense couldn’t finish anything in the 2nd half. Should have been 38 or 41 to 0. IU should have a great week of practice and clean up the run game. I still expect OSU to win but they will have to earn it.

    Pioneer is starting to look like a 6A program. They beat 6A Chesterton, and beat an Andrean team that, according to the OP, should be playing in 4A. 😁

    There’s no guarantee that the next afternoon would be any better. I would invite you to go into YouTube history and watch the ice bowl NFL championship game of ‘67 I believe. Daytime, below zero actual temp. I also remember a playoff game in Cincinnati about 15 years ago with similar temps.... also a day game. It’s football.
