This. And it’s not spin, it’s fact. To even put IU and PU in the same sentence concerning recruiting at this moment in time is laughable. Brohm can no doubt recruit, but Tom Allen is the media darling right now. HS kids all over the country are seeing how much his players love playing for him. Brohm is trying to recapture the past traditions at Purdue. Tom Allen is completely changing the culture of IU football. I doubt Indiana will ever win a national championship, but they can be a consistent 9-10 win team and go bowling every year. Kids see this. It makes Bloomington a desirable destination.

I've been down on ND in the past. Never really cared if they played for a national title. But I've seen nothing that says Clemson is going to beat them by 14+. Lawrence might be a difference maker, but no. Cincinnati might get caught reading their press clippings and stumble against Tulsa. More likely the 1st meeting than the 2nd.

Sounds more like you wanted to show off your band nerd expertise! All schools, regardless of size, march in the same competition at BOA. For Grand Nationals 3 champions are crowned based on semi-final scores. The top 12, regardless of size, march again in prime time for overall grand champion.

They don’t “merge them down”. They still award a grand national champion in all 3 classes.

Unfortunately, it is fair. Realistically we know neither Cincy nor BYU are top 4 teams. But, in the year of Covid, and considering bowl games are being cancelled right and left, why not go with 8 teams for this year only? Give them their shot. It would be fun to watch! I mean, who would have thought IU would be in the position they are in? They could be in that top 8 in 2 weeks!

But the question is, do you think Avon or Brownsburg would have beaten Ben Davis in the tournament? I don’t. Zionsville was able to get into an offensive rhythm that kept Cathedral guessing. Westfield was never able to find that rhythm. Credit CG. I wonder how next year’s schedules will change. Do Avon and Brownsburg remain on BD’s schedule? Is Lawrence North traveling to Avon? Who will be Bburg’s other non-con opponent? Westfield/Cathedral? Do the rest of the HCC/MIC contracts remain with the other schools? Head to Head MIC won 7 of 10 games. There’s still a pretty big gap. But it’s closing a little bit at a time.

You truly believe that? Maybe no offers yet, but I bet by the time these current players graduate, a dozen or more will be on division 1 rosters.
