    I am expecting a better Bremen team next year. The only lost a handful of seniors. Replacing the Huffman kid will be tough. He was a 4 year starter, and an All-Stater. The sophomore class was leaned on a lot this year. I am looking forward to seeing them grow and develop into juniors.

    I don't believe Bremen's schedule changes, I do know that Mishawaka Marian is moving to the NIC North, but someone stated that they will remain on Bremen's schedule as a non-conference game.

    Yes, he is living in Central Indiana now.

    This is a prime job, but does not come without its challenges. Numbers a way down, and whoever takes it has to plug a lot of holes next year. I have faith that whoever gets it will be well vetted.

    Justin Beriault (spelling) I forgot what school maybe Warren Central was in a few classes with me at Ball State, had a cup of tea in Dallas before injures curtailed him.

    Anthony Johnson from South Bend Adams played at ND for the 88 Champs. Played for several years, ended up rushing for over 1000 yards one year in Carolina.

    As a Bremen fan I would want to play Pioneer, Cass, and Rensselaer. Well run programs, that would be great measuring sticks.

    Some students in county schools don't have the transportation to get back and forth from practice. The bus ride is the only way to get from point a to point b. This could contribute to students opting out of participating.

    Has there been any discussion about co-oping teams in Indiana?

    I think Jimtown may have something up their sleeve against Marian. This is a Senior laden Jimmie team. I think they will be looking to play spoiler.

    Back in the early 90's, Mishawaka Marian had an issue with their field, and I believe they played a sectional game at Bremen, when Bremen was on the road.

    As much as I want to make an argument for why Bremen can win, I just can't. They are not very good this year.

    I decided to go with an old cell phone, some pvc tubing, and duct tape. Coach Nowlin said it worked great for his Bombers.

    I fail to see how your idea would be more competitive. You're plan encourages tanking to get into a lower tier tournament. If school A knows it has no shot against the top 2A teams because it is ranked 63 in the class, but has a shut at winning a 1a title against teams of similar caliber, why not lose the last 2 regular season games.

    It is a fun debate, but you are correct. The IHSAA loves the all in system. Most of the state is fine with it. Going to take a tremendous amount of change in leadership and motivation to see anything different happening. It is fun internet fodder, but those who want change, are not connected to leadership roles.

    After a few years, you could get a good feeling of what schools would be borderline.

    If I am a borderline team, what is stopping me from playing younger players the last two weeks to give them experience and resting my starters. In a round about way, they are intentionally losing so that they would be a 2a school rather than a 3a school. It would help the young players get playing time and let the older kids be 100% healthy for a tournament run.

    When would you divide them up? Prior to the season, mid season, post season?
