  1. Do you have a link you could share? Thanks
  2. 100% And looking at how many underclassmen are in it, I will be curious to see how many go nowhere. Kind of like having a house on the market too long. The value drops the longer it's there. With roster cuts coming next season as well, that only adds to the number who will not land anywhere. Stated it about a year ago, contracts would cut down the use of the portal. Make them 2 year contracts with an option for years 3 and 4.
  3. I sure hope that is a HARD pass. I have not been impressed with him. There is a reason he is looking elsewhere....and his name is Arch! I like the QB's the Irish have now. You bring Ewers in and those guys are gone.
  4. Ponds is coming back
  5. So what organization is in the worst shape? The Giants? The Jets? The Bears? The Colts? While arguments can be made for each, I am gonna go with the Jets. Similar to the Colts, they do not have a worthy starter. But they also let Rodgers make the calls for people to bring in. Adams was the only one that made sense. And now their coaching search has Rex Ryan on their radar? I was never high on either of the Ryan twins as coaches. Always felt like they were the show. Rex has grown on me with his in studio job. I will always enjoy hearing coaches at any level talking x's and o's. Rex has already had one stint with the Jets. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/jets-head-coaching-search-rex-ryan-ron-rivera-on-track-for-interviews-as-2024-season-winds-down/
  6. I am not sure I am ready to lay this at the feet of Steichen. If things come out about him losing the locker room, or doing something crazy. He could only play the hand he was dealt. They made the playoffs with Garner F'ing Minshew playing QB most of last season. That alone is impressive. While Minshew was mediocre most of his career, I do think they miss that personality in the locker room. He had heart, and was just a tough competitor. There are multiple spots where they need upgrades; especially on defense.
  7. Catching up with some clips on youtube now. Since the Colts last won the AFC South, the other 3 teams have all won the division TWICE....wow
  8. Very similar to the years the Blackhawks made their deep playoff runs. Those Pacific time zone games were a killer....especially the handful that went to OT.
  9. Very well could be. Over the last decade or so, every time they started hot, they would collapse at the end. I am guessing a lot of people, myself included were expecting it to happen again this season, but they have gotten better as the season has progressed.
  10. I agree sparty….with both. Even with Jones a little nicked up, I would not be surprised if the Vikings beat the Lions.
  11. Both things can be true
  12. McAfee could not wait until Monday.
  13. That was brutal. LaFleur and Hafley come in with the same game plan they had for the first game this year against the Vikings. It took a late comeback then just to make it a game, so I am not sure why they think they could do the same. While they make the playoffs, they are just 3-5 against teams either in the playoffs, or still in the hunt. So, my overreaction Monday comment is Matt LafLeur is overrated as a head coach. The downside is he wins enough games to keep the job at least 2 more years. And once again, gameplan screws them. A 4th and short, instead of a FG, they come up short. Annnnnnnnd, they won the toss and took the ball to start the game. So, Minnesota had two scoring drives for 10 points.
  14. No doubt
  15. Agree....and the o line played poorly when they were needed the most.
  16. They had a couple scoring drives in the 2nd half where it looked like they decided to start playing football, but then went in the tank late in the game.
  17. OK, but they are not blatantly political either.
  18. Your comment had NOTHING to do with football.
  19. Yeah great....keep the political stuff off this forum. You know that. Go to the OOB with it.
  20. Some things never change....gotta get your political digs/comments in huh?
  21. Very entertaining game to watch. Pretty cool that Cam Ward, who is going pro, stayed to play in this game. I did not hear much about players on either team sitting out. The common theme from both teams was they had something to prove.
  22. Talk about giving oneself too much credit; you take the crown in that one. Yes he is a grown man and can take care of himself. I am actually proud and a better man for knowing him. I have not told him to do anything. But if you attempt to be a smartass with a reaction or a reply, and get your panties in a wad for being called on it, then don't make dick moves. You appear to be just as "fired up" as anyone. I am fine with getting back on topic, but you always have to have the last word. Keep taking shots though and be prepared to be called out on it. Now, I am willing to close or lock the topic though. Your call
  23. Didn't trigger me at all. Why are you so obsessed with the word triggered? I would miss you with it, but you are like a magnet, you bring it on yourself. Get thicker skin if it triggers you that much.
  24. You posted 3 times in another topic AFTER he said he was 81 years old. Oh wait? You didn't read or see that post? Not really that big of a deal. But you went out of your way to laugh at the guy's comment AND take a jab at a guy who is very likely the most respectful and kind guy here for what looks like the same reason, instead of just scrolling past it with no reaction or reply. You know, like he did with your reply to him. Complain about the imagined different standards for people all you want, but more often than not, you bring it on yourself.
