  1. I see what you did there…lol and for College basketball, they shall be known as DUKESPN
  2. In line with the airing of grievances DEFINITELY NOT suitable for work. But this is priceless.
  3. I have a brother that is close to deaf, who tries the talk and text thing too. I am a master at interpreting it. 🤣
  4. Slainte'! Salud! Prost! 🤣 🤣 sorry....could not resist.
  5. Nope, no argument; just misinterpreted posts, and assumptions made.
  6. Everyone who reads this, is going to see it the exact same way I do.
  7. While you did not bring the word into the discussion (and it was unnecessarily brought in), quoting the person who did use it first and replying "helluva point" is pretty much the same. The fact is the discussion regarding who was deserving of the Mr. Football title should have never been brought in to the conversation. The poster who did, @Footballking16 has a tendency to take things a step too far, and too often. Not sure why personal attacks have to become a part of SO many topics any more, especially ones unrelated to any of the topics they show up in.
  8. and Ryan says to Sanchez...."WRONG f'ing hole jackass" 🤣 I did not really follow Hard Knocks that year, but it was obvious his hardass act was having no impact in that room. Great message, but I am guessin they had heard plenty of those before.
  9. 8 is enough for me; and can fit well within the current length of the season/post season. 12 is too many; even 10 is too many as well. Whoever is the 10th ranked team, while having a great season, is certainly not in a position to compete for a National title. Just a hunch, but I am guessing in my lifetime, there has never been a team that finished the season ranked 10th that had any chance at a title.
  10. I am fine with them hiring Ryan though. 🙂
  11. He was DEFINITELY lobbying for that job. I am not sure his style is fit for today's game though. His style really was not fit for the game when he was a head coach. I do not believe he has the resume to get another job. I have always thought that he and his twin brother liked to make things about themselves.
  12. Tough road win....special teams continue to be an issue. A win is a win at this point. It is fun watching all the bouncing around in the AFC playoff picture.
  13. Off to a perfect start with my bowl picks so far this year......0-3 🤣 Watched a good part of the WKU game and Zappe was slinging the ball all over the field.
  14. Bluffton High School has an immediate opening for a High School Social Studies teacher. Coaching positions at all levels available. If you have any questions reach out to Head Coach Brent Kunkel, bkunkel@bhmsd.org
  15. Munster High School Football has a Varsity assistant and a head freshmen coach openings. Teaching positions are unknown at this time. Please contact Head Coach Jason Grunewald at jfgrunewald@munster.us if interested.
  16. This just rubs me the wrong way “We did our homework on him (Bell), so we wanted to know, has he seen my son play, what were his thoughts, how he thought he would use my son, what were his plans to develop (Donaven) McCulley, and probably most importantly my son wanted to get to know him and try to build a relationship with him,” Cooper, Sr. said.
  17. That is a great point. I had not even considered that. And for the same reason, the conference was ok with Rutgers and Maryland being added to the conference AND put in the East.
  18. I would be curious about stats regarding Dabo's program. How many of his players have entered the portal? How many players has he had transfer to Clemson from the portal? And finally, what is Clemson's graduation rate?
  19. EXACTLY....the point I have often made about the IU schedule.
  20. yep https://www.ourlads.com/ncaa-football-depth-charts/active-nfl-players-by-college/indiana/90728
  21. Never fails.....it's the kiss of death I still want to see a tell all type of documentary on those Florida teams. As much as he was able to not make headlines at OSU; there is no question that more suspect things were going on in Gainesville.
  22. I don’t have the time at the moment, but I am curious to see what the numbers from last season would say IF the divisions had been North and South like Tempt suggests here. I know some of the matchups did not happen based on the schedule, but maybe look over the course of a 2-3 years. But it does appear the recruiting numbers balance out more. Perspective can be a funny thing. If you root for a team in the East, you likely have no issues in the realignment. If you root for a team in the West, it gets a lot tougher. As an IU fan, injuries and depth hurt them. But the way the schedule set up, it was a bear of a schedule. Penn State, Michigan State, ohio state, and Michigan is a really tough stretch to get through. I will add it is made even more difficult when each of those teams is a factor in the National rankings and potential playoff spot at the time IU played each of them. I will add, there is the eye test. The East was just better. osu has been a consistent contender, and Michigan was just that much better this season.
  23. North Newton has coaching openings at the Varsity level. Several teaching openings available. If interested email Coach Rouch at srouch@nn.k12.in.us
