  1. Well, I did not know much about the injures, so hope they have better talent available now for playoff run. Central Noble is not very good team, if they get past Eastside next week, then they should get to regional. Good luck, always like to see the SAC teams do good. Luers certainly plays tough schedule, 27th in state so they are usually can play with the top teams of the class they are in even when they have less than stellar year such as 2019.
  2. Luers went 4-5 in 2009 and then won the 2A. That was start of their 4 year run. Think that was the beginning of the Jaylon Smith era as well. They also had a 4 year title run starting in 1999. Maybe be first team to have (2) 4 year straight runs??
  3. I would like to see them make a run. In years past when they had a losing record in SAC due to L's to the conference bigs they were somewhat competitive. This year they had (0) points against the big 4 in the conference; Carroll, Snider, Homestead & Dwenger. I just don't think they have much of any talent this year to make run past sectional this year. I'll be pulling for them though !!
  4. I wasn't bashing at all. I was just curious what the lowest team points scored was for any given season. I hope the program can turn around, I for one think this whole "contraction" stuff is good fodder, but things change year over year and high school football will remain strong for many years to come.
  5. Seems to be some unexpected competitive games in SAC tonight. Carroll 13 - Wayne 12 after 3rd & Dwenger only up by 2 in 4th vs Northrop. Concordia vs North side close as well.
  6. They will not disappear in the near future, maybe in 15-20 years, expect some will also follow. The world is changing on many fronts, kind of scary IMO. Could be progress or the demise of the human race??
  7. I'm too lazy to look up, thought one you so called "experts" would know this off the top of your head.
  8. So that answers the lowest point scored in season question??
  9. I was looking at Shelbyville's game results this year and they have scored a total of 7 points for eight games. Assuming they will not score more than a TD or two Friday, will they be the team that has scored the least amount of points for any regular season? I thought they used to be a decent program. Other than coach change two years ago, what else is going on down there?
  10. betting, I would say Jeff is more likely to play Homestead than Carmel or Snider. Snider will not be at regional. OK, they have a slim chance, but doubt they get by Sparty.
  11. I did not know that Becker didn't play Friday. He gave Snider all types of problems. Hope kid is OK, but if he can't play in three weeks, I won't be too upset 😊
  12. I'm not going to dismiss Carroll so quick. Could go ether way, the way I see.
  13. Thanks, Snider will need to be on "A" game and hope Homestead is on "off" game. That is if they get matched up in first game or if not, they make to to second game.
  14. Noblesville is the bottom of that conference, any of the three SAC teams should not have an issue with them. If they do, that would be no good.
  15. Well, unless something wild happens in next few weeks, looks like Snider 12 year run on sectional championships will come to an end in 2-3 weeks.
  16. Well, that Wayne pick still puts you in the "Little bit" crazy area. 😉
  17. OK, the battle for second place is this Friday, who has who winning? I'll go with homer pick of Snider by 6.
  18. I saw Rod play numerous times. I think I recall he scored a TD on an INT, punt return and kickoff return, plus had a rushing or receiving TD in one game. Now this would have been almost 40 years ago, so I may be adding one that may not have happened??
  19. He went to Army, but don't see him on roster. Can they sit out a year and then come back following year??
