  1. See that he got let go Tuesday. Sounded as if he had some inappropriate or questionable conduct the past year or two. Wish him well and hope he gets help if needed.
  2. Too bad the Aces haven't carried that momentum after that win
  3. Anyone have "ins and outs" on the SAC this year. I normally follow SAC football, not all in tune with who is and who isn't in league B-ball. I see Snider won on deep shot at buzzer last night and see that Carroll is good. Just wondering how the SAC may play out this year.
  4. i agree, Carroll is likely best in SAC, I would saw Homestead/Dwenger duke it out for second. Snider has a lot of skill positions to fill on O, and has some big D positions to replace, they may have tough year. That is unless there are some surprise transfers or some young'ins step up.
  5. Only 3 skill positions out of the 14
  6. Maybe the Ocho !!
  7. Yes, I remember Doerffler, I think he was at Snider when I went their. They had some good teams at North when he was coaching them. I always wondered why he left north. I think SAC bottom third of conference will be better, maybe more balance next year then this??
  8. That is three years (Spegal) vs two for Steele though.
  9. I know you like stirring the pot, but why would they want to travel 80-100 miles for road games 4-5 times a year vs. 15-20?? Good try though.
  10. You may have North Side bumping up to the second tier in the SAC in 2020. I think they have a good core coming back?? SAC is easily the #3
  11. 8-9 all time record, Snider vs Penn. Snider held the upper hand back in 80 and early 90's, think things swung to Penn's favor has they got bigger and Snider stagnated on growth in mid 90's
  12. I'm thinking Snider will not be favored to win sectional next year. Homestead will not be as good as they were this year, but think Carroll will be favored. Becker the QB will give Snider's undisciplined D fits again in 2020. So yes, I'm thinking Snider drops in 2020, but will be back in 6A in 2022. I think they will be in a forever cycle during this success factor era.
  13. I really don't know what the connection is on good athlete and free lunches. Are you saying schools that have low number of free lunches equals better athletes?
  14. Ha, I'm guessing Bud Wright.
  15. I think Homestead and Carroll should also be considered. I would add Snider, but they are likely dropping to 5A next year.
  16. I like the game scheduled with Columbus East, that is big time out of conference game for them. Does CE return the favor with trip to Elkhart in 2021?
  17. Many teams build on preferred walk on's. Maybe that is good sign for IU that they not as many scholarships left over cause the cruiting is getting better and the have kids grabbing the PWO's
  18. Charlie is a good "get" for IU. Believe me, he will find the field quickly and maybe gain scholarship after first/second year. Probably get redshirt, but you never know. Guys with that type of drive and background usually succeed.
  19. Yeah, I'm not sure if he actually made 53 man roster and played in any regular season games.
  20. I think Reuben Holcomb (Snider) had a brief appearance in Tampa??
  21. I think a "public" and a "private" pound for pound would be appropriate. Private would include Chatard, Cathedral, Luers & Roncalli or Dwenger?? I just posted this same thing like a second after you did, funny !!
  22. Huh, IMO, not to sure about that.
