As I am just finishing up my second year teaching, I am currently looking and applying into other professions. Where I see myself and want myself to be in 10, 20, or 30 years, teaching cannot get me there. Pathetic I have to choose between mine and my future families well being vs the growth and well being of students. Thankfully, I was hired in at the right time and last year was the first year everyone got a raise. Before that the corporation went 6 years without a raise WITH insurance costs increasing. I encourage all of us to put your foot down if you feel so inclined. Nothing will change unless there is drastic change from our corner.

The TRC does something very similar to this. Obviously on a much smaller scale but I believe it has worked out well thus far. The end of the year 1v1 or 2v2 is quite exciting as well.

This was my first thought as well. I feel there are spurts where they just blitz the state.

We've been hearing the same thing about Homestead for a minimum of 2 years and up to 4 when they entered the SAC. Tremendous offensive talent and individual defensive talent.

Southwood loses just 4 seniors off an 11-1 year. Disappointing end to an incredible year, but just ran into an Adams Central buzzsaw.

I've seen the Hoosiers offer far smaller and less talented backs.

In reference to NM, Southwood, and Northfield, my point was Peru did anything BUT beat up on them. I believe 1 game over .500 in their games together.

I can only speak in reference to the 2nd paragraph..... 1. It was rumored Peru wanted out of the MIC because of their lack of enrollment relative to the conference. Certainly not the largest, but also certainly not the smallest. 2. *Complains about playing larger schools *Goes to conference where you're the largest enrollment. When you have 2x the student population of North Miami, Southwood, and Northfield, I certainly hope you beat up on them.....which was not the case. 3. Great guy, but his track record is spotty on if he can produce a dominate winner when you're the largest school in the conference.

Just saw the enrollment post. Ironic they're one student apart.
