  1. CG is a different squad with a healthy Carson Steele.
  2. If they get Carson Steele back, that's not a super big jump. Regardless, it wouldn't be that big of a surprise anyway.
  3. Which has nothing to do with what I posted, but thanks for continuing to stir the pot. Have a pleasant Friday night.
  4. And, I might add, an incredibly classy response by the Warren athletic department to post their end zone video on Twitter along with the official explanation. Mr. Clayton is a class act, and I respect him tremendously and so is Coach West. With their work along with the work of Coach Kirschner and Coach Hart and their staffs, this rivalry has gone from a game I used to dread because of all the unsportsmanlike conduct to what it has become today...a hard-nosed game played by two great and proud programs.
  5. Penn let the BD rivalry go because of Mishawaka. Now, they are apparently both gone from the schedule.
  6. Carmel in a nailbiter Warren in a non-nailbiter Center Grove by 7 (agree) Giants beat LN...the margin...I don't care about...just win baby.
  7. Ben Davis Center Grove Carmel Warren Avon Brownsburg HSE FC
  8. Pike will be plenty competitive. Cialdella is a very capable QB. If Warren plays the way they did against Ben Davis, anything is possible. I tend to agree with your score prediction, but I really have to wonder about Warren and where they are right now.
  9. Nice win for the Giants. A little bit more indicative of what this team COULD be than what it has been so far. Hoping this win can spark the Giants to see their potential. I was surprised the Giants got the call at the end of regulation. That's rarely called, but, by letter of the law, the field goal try must play all the way out. Warren came on the field early and was penalized. BD took advantage of the second chance and then made a huge play in the double OT to get the ball back without a WC score to give them the chance to win. It was a fun game either way. I'm sure a healthy number of Warren fans will blame the refs, but that team did not look good tonight. Alot of that was the BD defense, who played very well, but this Warren team did not look like the Warren I expected. Gotta get off the field on a 4th & 19...which BD converted...well before the penalty at the end of regulation.
  10. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/highschool/2019/09/17/how-arizona-high-school-coach-caught-leaking-game-plans-football/2354978001/ The amazing thing is that it took until 2018, as I read this, for someone to reach out and tell the school that was being hurt by the leaks.
  11. I can't identify exactly what's going on with BD right now other than they've been pretty inconsistent. I don't have a good feeling about Friday night, but, if there's ever a time to put your foot in the turf and say no more...it would be Friday. I'll still be in and with the purple win or lose.
  12. It should be noted that they did beat.. Warren, North Central, Pike (then Conference Indiana), and Center Grove to make it to state where they beat Snider.
  13. I know Ben Davis has contracted officials years in advance. Is it possible something like that has fallen through the cracks?
  14. BD is not responding to adversity very well. Had the chance to be in the lead at halftime, but the pick six on the first possession of the second half seemed to devastate the team. Friday night will be a major challenge...hoping we have something for WC.
  15. 6A is wide open. Might be the year for someone outside the MIC to take it.
  16. I'd say Center Grove is the most deceptive 0-3 team I've seen in a while. They're playing good defense, and I think we all know why the offense is struggling a bit.
  17. 57-11 (including the 1-2 start this year) with 4 Sectionals, 4 Regionals, and 2 Semi-State Titles. Yeah, horrible program. 🙄
  18. Good on you then. Just know that what you heard is not accurate. Have a great day.
  19. I flipped that first score around. Give me Ben Davis 17-14.
  20. I voted them #1 simply because I think they've been the most consistent team thus far. I still think Warren may be the #1 squad, but that will shake itself out later.
