Boone Grove has faced one of the state’s weakest schedules and they are undefeated. Halfback Braeton Vann has led Boone with 145 caries, for 1,425 yards. He’s scored 32 touchdowns. Man, that would be great if community members of BG could see the benefit to the school and program to build their own home, nobody is asking for crazy stadium, but it would be so great for the Wolves to have a true home. Great to hear about middle school team and amount of 8th grade players!!

I remember Coach Meeks Post Game vividly standing out on the field and message was simple, we are at rock bottom and only way out is to work and enjoy the brand new season. Started practice rejuvenated, listening to music on the game field and let the good times roll. Got to Week 12, Our Rival of 2000s Judson who drew undefeated Wheeler squad week 1, beat them and rolled Seeger the following week. Judson's HOF DC Orkis did a masterful job week 3 in slanting and reading our motions out of the double wing with their stud MLB C.J. Gum I believe and we sat as a staff and one our coaches (Stevens) came up with NO MO DOG, (DOG was what we used to call our double tight, double wing) As a Math guy he is, he stepped out the exact spots that each wing back should of been at in motion on each play and we worked on eliminating the motion and running away from GUMM and walling him off and was able to win the game 9-0 for another sectional title. I then remember vividly, that clinic season, we ran into a coach who was just floored that we were able to do that to Judson because his team lost and was shocked that we were not overwhelmed by LB play of the sectional teams, we just simply told him playing in the Hoosier Conference gives us everything we need to not be overwhelmed come sectional time. Oh the memories of our dates with our friends of Judson. We were double wing in 2008 thru 2013 with some mixed in wishbone and shotgun 2014 is the current Single Wing Gun we have been feature since.

Then Mixer Champion Times 2, FOXY as he loves to be called, @foxbat made it a cool even 3k last night with his sizable booster love!!! Then in wonderful fashion, long time vet of the board making his triumphant return, @Yuccaguy says, lets not just stop at 3k, lets keep the good times rolling. As my Man Hawk Harrellson famously says: DON'T STOP NOW BOYS!!!

North Newton is much better week 11 than week 2, that is for sure. I know I am biased, but I would take the Bombers against anyone in 2a, but I have also said that same thing since 2003. 1999 ( can't forget my film engineering years) NN BG Andrean All have very good players who pose problems for each teams. The board’s action was based on comprehensive recommendations from the NCAA Board of Governors Federal and State Legislation Working Group, which includes presidents, commissioners, athletics directors, administrators and student-athletes. The group gathered input over the past several months from numerous stakeholders, including current and former student-athletes, coaches, presidents, faculty and commissioners across all three divisions. The board also directed continued and productive engagement with legislators.

as many of you folks know I am a biggest Bears Meathead however, I absolutely do love what the Colts do for Indiana HS football and surrounding communities. Ballard was an absolute HOME RUN hire and I am jealous of the organization that Irsay runs compared to the one I love........
