No doubt, I have been meaning to go for years but a lot of times we would be at coach clinic and out of town during this weekend, but not this year!! No better time then now to support my guy Eli who one of the hardest working kids in 3 sports over 4 years that I have ever seen come thru our school. I am also excited to watch 195 pounder Kyler Funk wrestle this weekend as well.

I thought the 9th grader was VERY impressive last weekend at ECC Semi State for the Kougars!! Rensselaer Bombers: QB Eli Hickman in 138 weight class, this will be his 3rd state appearance in 4 years!! I am heading down for my 1st ever experience at Finals in wrestling, hope to be there before the parade, but gonna be close!!!

In other South Bend News: Jarvis Edison from Riley is taking a leave of absence: Staff member Justin Kinzie will take over Riley on an Interim basis for 2020 year.

The candidates that the school bring in to interview and subsequent decide to hire who they feel best fits the Culture and program that Coach Funk and his staff helped create. I am sure they will have a nice pool of candidates, maybe some in house, some from outside the program. In the meantime, let the process play out

IFCA surveyed Schools for 8 man this past winter, be interesting see where that goes, if anywhere, if you declare to do 8 man, can you get back to 11 man, lots of questions.....

Coach Jensen of Manchester reached out to me to help get the word out on the 2nd session (typically bigger schools) of Manchester Team Camp. June 22nd-25th: PRICE: $170 per camper, very very reasonable. COACHES ARE FREE They have went thru a huge upgrade of field turf and new stadium, based on pictures I have seen on Twitter, it looks close to be done before summer sessions begin, but not 100% on that. 3 meals, great dorms, support staff, weight room/film rooms, the whole 9 yards. **EDIT** JUST CONFIRMED THRU COACH: NEW STADIUM WILL BE READY TO BE USED I believe Lake Central has committed: Other schools who have been there in recent years, Zionsville, SB St Joe, Mish.
