Yes The ballot this had all position player winners on it, including Warsaw's kicker 3 New Pal players on the ballot alone -

And Adams did, his JR year as he led his team to 3a state championship by beating Evansville Memorial. -
CLASS 2A All State (Senior & Juniors)

So all WL had to do was beat, Guerin, then Chatard, both on the road, then FW Concordia then Mish Marian, then make it to 3a State and Beat Heritage Hills? If you are scoring at home, that would of been 4 straight Private schools on their way to Lucas. That would of made up the difference between the 2? All 3 were tremendous QBs and athletes. I know I am bias, however facing Kyle Adams 2 times in person and all the game film that I watched of him, the throws he made, the fact he got a legit big time scholarship to James Madison, a premier program in the FCS division was enough for me to see him on the Mr. Football ballot as QB position winner. If Kyle Adams was 6'1 he is not going James Madison........ Not a knock against Wright, very good HS QB himself. -
and this is the man behind the scenes in charge of Purdue Recruiting: He is as Real as it gets and puts it all out there, he is the straw that stirs the drink for the Boilers recruiting

I think AP should be out soon. I believe last year Rondale was 1st consensus All American as a Freshman since Adrian Peterson

Karlaftis and Bell named 1st team Freshman All American by Athletic

I will say, Schiano gives them the BEST chance to make drastic improvements. Do not see them getting into the 8-10 win range however. 4-6 range, sure

Best Young Coaches In the State
Coach Nowlin replied to Urban_Legend's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Yes, but not announced yet. -
Head to IFCA.net Click Job Openings; Look at all the different requirements schools have put out there to apply, investigate the situation, follow the protocol established by the opening by each school, and put your hat in the ring and hopefully get a phone call to come talk about it. I would say for most schools, they are looking for former HC experience OR coordinators from successful schools not all the time, but most of the time.

I doubt that its the HC flat out saying this to players, but in the instance of Purdue. If you are those 2 who entered the portal, you see Rondale, You See David Bell, Milton Wright, Amad Anderson are all Freshman or Sophomores, you are not getting reps, your position coach has you in a pecking order, you have 2 choices, stay and compete, however you see that Purdue is bringing in another 4 star WR Dog, another elite speed slot guy, another 6'2 WR Sullivan and you ask yourself, will I have get to play here or is there better opportunities for me to play. That is what is going on. Same with these elite schools, Bama, Clemson, OSU, etc. You see 4 and 5 star guys leaving all the time because they are not getting reps, and the next batch of OMG 5 star dudes are coming and so they feel they need to get a new situation to get on the field and get that tape to for their ultimate goal, Sundays.

See above from last page, I posted a few days ago. Pittman entered after Nevada game this year None looked to be able to break the lineup, especially the WR. Hamilton came in as a WR, then flipped to CB, didn't work out. Same with Criddle: Tried OL then DL to no avail. Purdue has lost 2 DB to being "flipped" from Verbals: Christian Gonazalez, but in all honestly, it was an odd Verbal to begin with. He announced his top 3 I believe, PU was not on it, then all of a sudden verbals and says he committed to PU. His buddy verbals to Colorado from his same HS and he goes to OV and flips. The PU connection is he is the David Blough's brother in law. The Melton flip today to Rutgers is 100% Schiano hiring. He is a legagy at Rutgers, Dad played their, Brother is on the team, but once they got 8 year contract for Schiano it was lights out for PU on that end. He has big time speed and would of helped the Boilers immediately, but PU also has a WORLD CLASS SPEEEDSTER coming from Suburbs of Chicago, slot WR, but big time Return guy. Like legit world class speed kid. Marcellus Moore: https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/2020/marcellus-moore-213245 Lane 5: set U20 World Record at Pan Am games this past summer https://grn.milesplit.com/videos/399294

Noblesville kid transferring to PU Safety/LB https://www.hammerandrails.com/2019/12/11/21011288/arkansas-state-purdue-transfer-zac-tuinei Seemed like a relative unknown player .....

Word around the cooler is Max Melton looking to flip to Rutgers, where his brother plays..... Schiano hiring helped there is my guess He is a very good DB prospect, bummer if it comes to fruition

So what you are saying is that NUMBERS do lie!!!

I know a story that was told to me very recently of a 6a coach that is very well respected recently stated that Maxen Hook would be playing in the NFL.

BINGO!!! Most damning was OT vs IU 3rd and 11 and looked like corner was in Cover 3 Tech, IU WR just ran to the front pylon, stopped, waited, and ball came, CB was 8 yards deep in the EZ, had no chance to plant and explode to the WR. One of many of those awful 3rd down executions where some sort of lapse happened in either scheme or communication.

3 walk ons were key contributors to the success offensively for Purdue vs IU this past year. Center: SOPH Walk ON QB: RS SOPH WALK ON RB; Harvath: RS SOPH former walk on earned scholarship this past year: https://www.southbendtribune.com/sports/college/football/purdue-s-horvath-earns-respect-scholarship/article_d7dfa4a8-a5ba-55b1-a448-60f9c8a168fc.html I absolutely can see Spegal taking the same type of Path at IU as Horvath did at PU. Agree: I just read an article recently where Purdue Recruiting coordinator while at OSU was in charge of their PWO program and he was able to convince a couple 3 star kids to go to OSU instead.

Recruiting and decisions for young players out of high school is not a one-size-fits-all proposition quit trying to make it that way

Highly ranked D1 QBs who were nationally recruited vs a throwback FB playing in a spread heavy era of football Apple meet Oranges
