  1. Who’s chuckling now?
  2. Disclaimer: I am a Packers fan just like my buddy, @Irishman The timing of this is next level-bad, or in line with their thinking. Nothing can be gained from this as it puts the team in a very bad spot. I really don't think they have an end game here, very few good coaches would want to jump aboard this sinking ship.
  3. So it wasn’t for Miles Davis either?
  4. Or even Al Davis (former Oakland, now Las Vegas Raiders owner)
  5. Great question! It could be: Jefferson Davis (former President of the Confederate States of America) Ann B. Davis (portrayed spunky housekeeper Alice Nelson on “The Brady Bunch”) David Love III (PGA golfer) Gray Davis (former Governor of California) Jim Davis (Muncie native and creator of Garfield)
  6. On a more somber note, I heard Khalil Mack is out for the year. Stick a for in them, they're done...
  7. I lived right across the street from that establishment for man years. Food does suck, even if you're wasted! The staff is what made it fun, though.
  8. Should be a good game. It was funny, though: I was driving on I-65 South this morning and saw a MHS minibus with no one on it. I don't know if equipment was being hauled to Westfield or what.
  9. New Prairie 28, Lowell 14 Final
  10. New Prairie 21, Lowell 14 Late 4th
  11. Lowell & New Prairie tied at 14 in 3rd
  12. NWCC looking good tonight: Andrean 21, Laville 0 3rd Lowell 14, New Prairie 7 Right before recess
  13. Merrillville 6 trillion, Penn 0 Start of 2nd half
  14. Get the running clock ready? Merrillville destroying Penn 26-0 in the FIRST QUARTER.
  15. Finally a great night for some football!!! Snow flurries mixed with rain. Looks like some road jerseys will need some Oxy Clean…
  16. Well put. I understand that if he shut David Bell down, there goes Purdue's passing game. Nothing could be further from the truth as Anthrop, Durham, Miller, Wright, and many more are more than able. I've seen the Bucks play a few times this season, and they can be very sloppy. They'll have to earn this win as much (if not more) as Purdue does.
  17. Not too bad. The nearest Gelsosomo’s is in St. John.
  18. Iowa didn't have much of an offense...and it showed. Michigan State didn't have much of a pass defense...and it showed. Ohio State has both. Although Stroud can be shaky, they have great WRs and decent running backs. I also fear their defense and just hope Purdue keeps it respectable.
  19. Here we go...again!
  20. They are playing much better thanks to Bank and Heuerer
  21. Foodie, townie--you guys hit the jackpot!!! No, Lowell does not have a dearth of fine dining, but there are some good places: 1. McVey's--about a mile west of the Inferno on SR 2/Commercial Avenue. The only fine dining spot in our little burg. Pricey, but well worth it. 2. Mi Ranchito--two miles west of the Inferno on the main drag. Very authentic, the owners are from Mexico. Great food and better maragaritas. 3. George's--across the street from the high school. Will give Denny's (of which there's one at I-65 & SR 2) that is, well, Denny's... $. Bearski's--Awesome local sports bar with decent food and drinks. 5. Dicky's Dogs--a Portillo's wannabe, but not bad. 6. Aurelio's Pizza--real good sit down pizza place. 7. Pizza Hut--not any better, but cheaper 8. Loven Oven--Best pizza in town 9. Athens Grill--great take out Greek and American food. 10. No. ! Chinese--more like only one, but still pretty good take-out 11. Chicquito Mexico--not bad, but not as Charming as Mi Ranchito. 12. There's also a Shoop's Hamburgers in town, but they have odd hours. Normal fast food, too.
  22. Best of luck, my friend.
  23. You are absolutely right. LSU is just 2 years removed from a National Championship and they have no tolerance for mediocrity. If Brohm has a season or even a few bad games there, he could easily find himself unemployed.
  24. Good for you, seriously. I’m not blind, it can do much more harm than good. Just keep on keeping on.
