    I saw on the news that 600 are in quarantine in the Crown Point school district. Although I don't know if that's limited to just the high school or entire district. I do know, however, that 600 is a lot of people and am praying for the wellness and hope it didn't hit the football all team too bad.

    I’d be remiss if I didn’t add my two cents. Sandy Pines is a great course, one of the best in the area. I moved to Lowell abutting 15 years ago and have seen a stunning difference in the Southern communities. Much more family friendly and livable.

    Let’s see: Valpo? No. Merrillville? No. Crown Point? Probably not. Chesterton? Doubtful. Michigan City? Trending no. LaPorte? Possibly. Portage? Good as any. The DAC is finally getting stronger as a whole, but LC still has a long way to go.

    I agree. Beating Munster and Morton moves the needle very little as the Tribe does that every season. I suggest two things: beef up the non-con slate and go .500 in league, then we’ll talk or at least gesture.

    Good points, thank you. I hope neither was the case, but when you look at all traffic accidents, these two are always up there in addition to being impaired by substance impairment.

    I grew up in a small town. Whenever we had a child pass away, there was a sting that never seems to go away.
