I feel your pain but we did pick up Devin Funchess and a lot of OLs in the later rounds. Was KJ Hill drafted? Maybe we can sign him as a free agent.

As I have said numerous times, athletics are very cyclical. A “down” season is allowed every now and then. Ben Davis and Penn will continue to be forces to be reckoned with no matter how full their stadium is nor if their conferences best days may (or may not) be behind them. -
But what about South Alabama, Spring Hill, and Tuskegee?

Totally is. I was in Huntsville a few years ago at Iron Bowl time and told to only wear blue and orange (Auburn colors) by my aunt.

Happy with the Tight End pick out of Cincinnati, Leguara? AJ Dillon is a back not in the same vein as Aaron Jones, so we’ll have two different options back there. As for WR, we did just pick up Devin Funchess, but there’s still a lot of talent out there (Donald Driver was a 7th round pick). The same can be said for our other needs.

Purdue-IU Alabama-Auburn UCLA-USC Duke-UNC Harvard-Yale Michigan-Ohio State Army-Navy All are iconic rivalries and the hate/angst/loathing has been transferred to the fans. Perfectly natural and makes the game even more fun

Calling Purdue’s defensive line weak and anemic isn’t actually what I’d call accurate given Purdue’s history of quality ends on that side of the ball.

Possibly, but I also saw his comments as a thinly-veiled swipe at Purdue. George and the new DC Diaco will make the defense better. One more thing, injuries were a big part of last year, too...
