  1. Jeez, cheez (just wanted to say that, awesome venue, but it will never host a neutral site game)...
  2. I'll call a spade a spade: Purdue's not in this year. It would take beating both Iowa & Rutgers this coming week and two wins in the BTT. Silver lining time: most everybody, other than Tommy Luce and Evan Boudreaux are coming back. Additionally, two real talented guards and a 7-3 center are incoming recruits to keep the future bright.
  3. My point exactly!!! Conference affiliations are much more than football...
  4. I've see it also, looks pretty good. TC's from I-65 is not near as good in my humble opinion.
  5. My thoughts exactly. What has Watt ever done? Nelson made the Packer HOF and is LOVED in Wisconsin, and who the hell is Santana Moss?
  6. In the Region, I like Chesterton and Lake Central. Valpo also has a good one, so much so that Boone Grove plays their home games there. Lowell is a great old-school venue as is Whiting. But any place with great Friday night weather and a rocking crowd is the place to be no matter if you have turf or grass...
  7. J. J. Watt was at one time a walk-on. As was Clay Matthews, Santana Moss, and Jordy Nelson...
  8. My two cents: Allen & IU will be fine with their cupcake non-conference schedule in search of a lower tier bowl game. Smaller schools such as Hanover, Marian, and Wabash will also have exciting games on their respective campuses every autumn. San Dimas High School football rules.
  9. With that, I feel to realize what's so good about to HCC. To me, they're just a bunch of large suburban schools whose talent is (merely guessing here) similar to the MIC.
  10. Conferences, no matter if we’re talking about the Hoosier North, Hoosier Hills, or anywhere in between, will have their respective hierarchies: elite, middle of the road, and not so good. With athletics being cyclical AS THEY ARE, LC and LN aren’t in the elite category at the moment, but what about other sports? Football doesn’t always drive the bus.
  11. This “idea” presents quite a problem for Ben Davis, North Central, Pike, and Warren Central, what is their endgame? A four-team league is not a good idea...
  12. I dug what you had to say. Both Purdue and (to a lesser extent) IU are both great institutions for which be should be proud.
