For AC, I would like to see Norwell as a measuring stick when they're good. Also would like to play our neighboring schools across the state line. Rotate between the two as we only played Parkway (Rockford OH) (Might MAC bottom feeder) before. I'd like to play Crestview (Convoy OH) just for personal reasons as they seem to be following in our footsteps. Those two Parkway & Crestview open their season against each other and have non conference each the following week (Week 3 for us which has been our last non conference week).

Congrats to LCC, just better in all phases of the game tonight. Good luck next weekend. Thanks to the AC seniors for their leadership on a great season that was only supposed to be a rebuilding one. Pressure is on next year's team to continue the tradition!

This is just icing on the cake at this point for us Jets fans. Talking with a couple of other fans at youth wrestling and 3-6 to 4-5 were the expectations for the regular season. Instead they went 8-1 and are now in Semi State when a Regional trip was overachieving. Will we run into another Kizer or Zachery this time with Barrett? Let the chips fall where they may.

Just hope the Jets come back focused and realize it's a new week. It was such an emotional victory Friday and they must put that behind them quickly.

No, as that was the second time seeing SA and having multiple weeks to look over that film and fix things. Not as much prep time for this one.

I'd kick out Maryland and Rutgers to add Notre Dame and Iowa State. I would then add Pitt and WVU to expand to 16. Bring rivalries back to the sport as that is why it grew in the first place!

AC is also in a "rebuilding" year this year. Believe 26 seniors were lost from last years' semi state team. South Adams was the team that was going to state this year and I'm still in disbelief that our Jets beat them. South Adams will be back next year though so watch out again. However, AC will have some good glasses to come in the future. The Jets have a good 6th grade class, some good 7th grade athletes who fight like this team does, and a very talented 8th grade team. The Freshmen have shown some talent and Cook is a speedster. The sophomore class is a big key to this years team (Heyerly & Currie) as are a few Juniors like Collier. Kudos to this senior class from learning from their predecessors and carrying on the AC football tradition. I'd think LCC would be the favorite at home and based on the historical matchups. Much like Pioneer, this is another team we have to get the monkey of our back. In fact we have to get the semi state curse off our back. We had only broke it once in the 2000 state championship season against North White. Like I said in another thread, everyone is ecstatic we get to play another week of football for a shot to go to LOS. Especially in a rebuilding year. GO JETS!!!!

Well you could stop by and see the Jets battle LCC since you're heading up to the region from Bloomington. LCC has to be favored, but us Jet fans are just ecstatic to be playing this week!

Adams Central upsets county rivals South Adams 19 to 7 to avenge their only loss and to give South Adams their only loss.

Boy, the coaches must have said what I've posted on here as I wasn't expecting that upset. Completely different ball game this time around. Though I believe Stutzman was out for SA which was key. Great season to the Starfires, and way to go Jets!!!!!

Yep exactly. Like the '16 Pioneer @ AC Semi State game. Definitely prefer an AC win but I have a hard time seeing it. Going to be weird when I have family playing for South Adams in some years and have to root for them.

Need to have the weather conditions South Adams faced against Woodlan. That was their lowest output of the year and probably the best shot AC would have.

NCAA should have mandated the two games he'd have to sit out. Penn State and Michigan (not that we will win against the evil anyway). Make the one volunteered game not count so it would have been a 3 game suspension.

Never been to LOS on Thanksgiving weekend. Would have been cool to watch my youth league teammates win the title for Bellmont, but had family gatherings. Plus I don't want to go unless one of the few local teams make it (may not if South Adams makes it this year but would like to see it). Definitely will go if the alma mater (Adams Central) makes it. I guess in short I only go if one of the few teams earns a spot.
