  1. Love your polls Temp, but I think you crossed a line with East Central over Carroll. I like Center Grove at #1, but Carroll is more than deserving of #2. In fact, I'd lay good money down on Carroll over East Central.
  2. At least?
  3. Carroll is on a mission. Center Grove is a beast. I wanna say Center Grove, but Carroll keeps proving itself time and time again.
  4. I had HSE by 11. The only thing I was right about was that I didn't think Carroll would get wasted by 3+ touchdowns like MANY were predicting. Signature win for Fort Wayne.
  5. Lol, lot's of receipts to dig up. I'll pass.
  6. Was it you Rodney? I could have swore you took HSE big in this one.
  7. Any time you have a big offensive line and a good running back, you have a chance. From what I understand this is a different Valpo team than the one that started the season. They have a great running back who came back for the playoffs after an early season injury.
  8. You and maybe one other person on this forum called this game. Good job. And I tried telling everyone that Valpo is no pushover.
  9. I remember that game well. I have that team ranked 4th on Snider's all-time list. Although if someone wanted to debate #1, I wouldn't give much opposition. You could mix the 86, 92, 97, and 04 teams in a hat and rank them randomly. What about the 2002 game at Homestead? FREEZING
  10. Oops, here's the rest of the article: Good Marathon Times For an elite runner, a good marathon time is between 2:02 and 2:10 for men and 2:15 and 2:25 for women.1 But a good time for an elite runner is different from a good time for an amateur. For you, a good time might be anywhere from 3:00 to 5:00. How you compare and your goals will depend on typical marathon times for the course, your age group, and qualifying times for well-known marathons. Overall Average Marathon Times According to RunRepeat's report on running data, the average marathon time around the world in 2019 was 4:32:49. To break that down further, in 2019 the average men's marathon time was 4:30:46, and the average women's marathon time that same year was 4:56:39.1 Keep in mind that this data covers thousands of marathon runners, but not elite runners.
  11. Verywellfit.com a good marathon time is between 2:02 and 2:10 for men and 2:15 and 2:25 for women
  12. Concordia has Scecina and Eastbrook booked for the next two years.
  13. I'd be surprised if the two teams didn't reach out to one another when the SAC opened up for business out of conference. My guess is that Indy Lutheran didn't have an opening in Weeks 1 & 2.
  14. I was wondering the same thing.
  15. Recruiting used to piss me off. But I've changed my stance on that. If a coaching staff is good enough to get a kid outside of their district to come play for them, then kudos to them. Cathedral is arguably (many schools could make that claim) the best program in the state of Indiana. If recruiting is part of that equation, so be it. I just don't think it should be in 4a.
  16. BUT.......................4a isn't Cathedral's rightful home. You, me, and Footballking can agree to that.
  17. Depends on the Fort's representation, I may or may not be there both Friday and Saturday.
  18. I don't necessarily disagree. But in some cases, it's all you have. Unless you want to go by Sagarin. In that case, HSE is a 10 point favorite over Carroll. What about that steak dinner?
  19. You're also the same guy who agreed with me that Cathedral can't play the small school card a few months back. They have no boundaries. They don't even have a feeder system. I respect the Irish, but I don't want to here that poor Cathedral is just a 4a school.
  20. I'm a realist. It's why I have HSE by 11 in this one.
  21. And Carroll was without their top defender for the Jeff game. Snider was without 5 starters when Cathedral beat them 39-31 in 2011. We could do this all day. Is any team ever 100% healthy? I don't see two Cathedral starters making that big of a difference. Aren't they deeper than that?
  22. Amen brother. I like HSE by 11. If they win by 3 touchdowns, I'm buying Footballking a steak dinner in Indy.............not St. Elmo's or Ruth Chris. Maybe he'll chime in and offer me one if Carroll covers the spread.
  23. True story. The only reason I cited Carroll, Cathedral, Penn, and Homestead is because Indy posters do it all the time. At the end of the day, I agree with Footballking. Well, not exactly, he said "absolute terrible." I wouldn't go that far. But I get his point.
