Yep and their schedule (which already sucks) is going to get even worse if they do something dumb like leave the ACC, it's already shaping up to be terrible next year. Right now ND is guaranteed 7 games a year; 5 team ACC schedule, Navy, and USC. USC is seriously close to pulling the series from ND unless it's played early in the season. Imagine ND trying to schedule 11 new opponents every year in the future? It'd be a nightmare and I hope it happens. There's zero reason for a B10 or SEC school to ever schedule Notre Dame again with the MOU that goes into effect next year that automatically grants ND a playoff birth if they finish in the top 12.

They don’t even have the most eyeballs, not even close. Of the top 25 most watched regular season games this year, ND appeared in one game….a stand alone game on a Sunday of a holiday weekend. I hope they do something stupid like leave the ACC. Without a conference scheduling partner, they are in trouble down the road.

Sounds like starting DE Stephen Daley will miss the playoffs. Suffered an injury during post game celebrations. Lead the nation in TFL’s, is a significant loss. But next man up just like it’s been all year, Daley became a full time starter midway through the year after Kellen Wyatt was lost for the season due to injury. Winners win, losers opt out of the pop tart bowl.

Notre Dame Derangement Syndrome lol. For a school that hasn't won a national title in nearly 40 years, you sure do think awful highly of yourselves.

There's a reason why they haven't won a national title in almost 40 years. They still think it's 1972 and the college football universe revolves around them. Stop scheduling them. B10 and SEC teams get nearly $100 mil/yr in media revenue, they no longer need ND for exposure for money. USC is close to telling them to pound sound as well. Let these guys play Army, Navy, and Toledo every weekend if being Independent is that important.

Which is ridiculous. Had this been next year, ND would have bumped Miami for the last at-large spot. Imagine the travesty of ND getting in over a Miami team with the same record whom they lost to on the field? Stop. Scheduling. Notre Dame Relegate them to scheduling MAC schools and service academies and see if those metrics hold up.

The ACC wouldn’t have gotten a dime from Notre Dame had they made the playoff. They didn’t last year either.

ND’s AD is just an absolute loser. The sense of entitlement and tone deafness is astounding. Why wouldn’t the ACC push for a full-member participant who beat ND head to head.

Alabama was 10-2 with 6th rated SOS. Notre Dame was 10-2 with the 44th rated SOS. You think they would fare equal or better with a tougher schedule? Don’t buy it.
