  1. Roncalli used to always play a fairly tough schedule. Aside from playing Cathedral and Chatard, they always used to open up with Center Grove and got Franklin Central week 2. Played their fair share of schools from OH as well if I can recall.
  2. Lol. You talk about Cathedral more than some of the people on here actually support Cathedral. You care about Cathedral entirely WAY too much. Clearly.
  3. I think we can all point out the poster who didn't get accepted in to Cathedral. Can't keep their damn out his mouth.
  4. Save your prayers for something more worthwhile. Think you may need them.
  5. Open enrollment kills your no boundaries argument. Every public high school in Indianapolis has the ability to take a student from the same 2 million people that Cathedral does. I understand and respect your wishes to bow out of this argument, it’s for your own good.
  6. They draw from who applies genius. Cathedral has an acceptance rate of >80% and with a typical freshman class being ~350 students that means they typically receive 450-500 applicants a year. A lot of the students who apply to Cathedral also apply to Chatard, Brebeuf, Guerin, etc and ultimately go there there paving the way for students who were initially waitlisted to gain acceptance. Simply put, if you apply to Cathedral, you’re likely getting in. Any student in Central Indiana can theoretically choose to go wherever they want with open enrollment being instituted so save it.
  7. Forgot where playing a tough regular season schedule was a pre-requisite for playing in the 6A tournament? You made the comment, not me.
  8. Sounds like something you should take up with the IHSAA. Not sure how this has anything to do with the current senior class.
  9. Uhh Chatard was a top 5 team regardless of class last year. They aren’t better this year than last year.
  10. You just going to forget the 14 other games they scored 30+? -hung 56 on 6A runner-up -44 on Carmel -beat Ohio large class state champion -40 in 3A champ who was top 5 regardless of class -hung 38 on La Salle who was a top 10 team in Ohio 567 points to my knowledge is the single season scoring record at Cathedral. I know it doesn’t mean a damn thing but CalPreps has the 2021 team beating the 2019 team by 11 points and the 2020 team winning by 16 points.
  11. I never called this year or last years team the best Cathedral team of all-time, I simply stated that both were better than the 2019 team. I said the 2020 team statistically was the best offensive Cathedral team of all-time. I can’t help you with reading comprehension dude….sorry.
  12. Ekiyor will be in the NFL next year. Cathedral no doubt had some impressive individual talent (as well as good teams) in the time frame you’ve referenced, but none of those teams were as a deep and/or collectively strong as the last two Cathedral teams. I don’t know why you need to fight it?
  13. Nor were they in 2019 or 2015 teams with four high major recruits, two of them who will be playing on Sunday’s with one already there. Again, what is your freaking end game here? You asked a question, you got the same unanimous answer three different times from three different posters in a matter of five minutes. Don’t like? Well I don’t really give a sh*t. Move on.
  14. Cathedral was very good in 2019, again I’m missing where its been said they weren’t??
  15. They were a good team, who has said otherwise? They weren’t better than either the 2020 or 2021 teams.
  16. The 2021 team would have beaten the 2015 team by multiple scores. Team was full of great individual talent but doesn’t have anywhere near the depth the 2021 team has.
  17. What’s your end game here? To get one of us to say New Pal beat the best Cathedral team of all-time (2019). You’re delusional if you think that’s going to happen.
  18. Nobody said 2019 wasn’t a good team. You asked if the 2019 team was better than the 2021 team. They weren’t, not by any measure. They weren’t better then the 2020 team either. The 2015 team had a QB commit to Maryland, an OL commit to Alabama, a RB commit to USC, and an OLB commit to Ohio State. That team wasn’t better than this years team and I have zero hesitation stating that.
  19. You asked a question. It was answered. Sorry if you don’t like it. There’s no valid argument to be made that suggest otherwise.
  20. Where the players went is really irrelevant. The 2020 Cathedral team owns just about every offensive single season record in school history.
  21. I’m talking about best all-time at Cathedral. They put a hurting on a ton of non-5A schools in the regular season.
