Did the Memeoral Jasper broadcast die for everyone?

The totals from the last two games have been insane. I think he suffers from a lack of press due to location and he had a lot of ground to make up on the leaders. His team being 5-5 is hurting him because he did not get the attention that teams in the Top 10 are getting. He will get an opportunity to change that lack of attention.

Agreed. I think his stats and going to 3 straight finals and winning two made a big difference. Bowen does not have the resume that Kiser did. I am also of the opinion that this award should go to the best HS Sr football player in the state. It is not an award for the best college prospect. People may think differently and that is OK.

I think it comes down to publicity. (For better or worse). Brady Allen had that good performance in the state finals to top off a great career. Is Tibbs going to have a game or playoff run like that to grab everyone's attention? We will see. He has to share the spotlight with Akers and Wooten in the passing game.

Bowen's stats may hold him back if he does not win state again. Kiser had more TDs his senior year than Bowen has in his career. All Purpose Yards are almost the same. (That does not include passing yards.)

There is a pretty specific code of conduct on their football website that applies to all athletes. https://www.nwhsfootball.com/ I don't think they are getting off easy if they follow it.

Hansen also plays both ways. Made some nice tackles for loss vs EC.

Ringer is very, very, good and should be in contention next year. I think he suffers a little from EC being a little out of the spot light due to location and New Pal getting a lot of team press. (EC is overshadowed by New Pal by being ranked higher.). EC may very well get an opportunity to do something about that in the playoffs. I may be really off base, but Tibbs is a great player whose individual accomplishments get all lumped into a great Cathedral team performance. Hansen got the early press with his big start to the season and Bowen was at the top of the list due to last year. I think it is down to those two.

Yes, requested by the IPS schools. My wife used to teach at CA and one section of the concrete beaches was not safe. Looked like they were going to fall down. Though one would think they could play at Tech. Pretty nice facilities from what I heard.

Found the rules. Looks like at Regionals odd sectional hosts if both teams hosted sectional finals. Seems to favor Roncalli in New Pal match up, if both play away the first two weekends.

Will be interesting if the favorites play out where the games will be played. Can someone refresh me on how location is decided?

I was also on the field for a very long depressing night at Reitz bowl vs South Spencer my jr year.

Scecina is surprisingly small and not as speedy as one would think. MD should handle them. Not sure if they can handle LS speed and size this year.

Has the MD-Reitz score changed anyone’s opinion about who comes out of sectional 24?

Roncalli will have to really work to get out of sectional in two years with BJ and Mooresville. Big drop off in Jr class Depends on what kind of QB play they get. To beat Roncalli they will have to throw a lot. They could give Mooresville problems

Does this say more about 4A playoff, 2A playoff or is it just a rivalry score?

EC said about 5 times in post games on radio and YouTube that they are looking forward to next game against Roncalli.

Previous seasons Roncalli has had no one going both ways. The drop off between the Sr and Jr class is causing a few to play both ways. Hansen is is playing some linebacker. The Lauck kid is going both ways as he should. Guy is a beast. I would say probably 2 full time and 3 more situationally.
