  1. Memorial kind of pushing MD around up front. MD had a long TD called back.
  2. JV Roncalli 14 Chartard 7 FR Roncalli 28 Chatard 7 Not sure I remember Roncalli sweeping in a while.
  3. I will look forward to the pictures. I am headed up to Raccoon Lake for a long weekend, so I will have to watch on YouTube.
  4. Roncalli is really struggling to replace Lockard at WR. His loss due to concussion against Chartard in Sectionals was a big factor in the Mt. Vernon loss last season. He was able to stretch the defense with the deep ball and that really opened up the running game. I also think the QB running game that was a strength the last several season is not going to be there this year and that also hurts.
  5. If you have a good program, good assistants, why would you leave? What else are you going to do? Look at Bud Wright at Sheridan. He has been there 57 years as HC.
  6. Don't sleep on East Central. They are very talented with their two WRs and their RB.
  7. Not sure anymore, but it sounds from CYOGURU that things are bad enough at Ritter that kids are willing to pay that higher rate.
  8. Really it is as open as a public school with open enrollment The parents are free to send their kids to any school. I know nothing about these kids individual situations, but I know two of them from grade school ball and they have been at Chatard since their FR year. I also want to be clear that I am knocking Chatard or these kids.
  9. 9 kids on Chatard's roster from schools that are in Ritter area schools. Chatard is the only one that publishes affilications on their rosters, so I imaging there are more at other schools.
  10. Can’t keep their kids in system. My son is at another school and played against Wooten (Cathedral) and Purichia (Chatard) when they were at St Michael. Very strong program. There are more at Chatard and probably some I don’t know about.
  11. Does Memorial get anybody back from injury that is going to help the offense? 0 TDs on offense is surprising.
  12. You mentioned 5 fumbles. Warxhed the Northview game and it hurt them. Maybe I am reading too much into posts.
  13. Is the Jasper TO number starting to be a thing to talk about? Killed them in sectional.
  14. There was a proposal to close MD back in the late 60s and move the kids to the Rex Mundi HS, but that did not go over well and they ended up closing Rex Mundi instead even though it was a much newer school. Would lose a lot of St. Philip, St. Wendel and St Joe kids just because of the distance.
  15. The Roncalli kid broke the school record for single game rushing yards.
  16. Not at this time. High end speed may not be there, but as mentioned he is a wrestler so that atheletism helps with footballl. interesting side note is that his dad was principal at Chatard until he retired last spring.
  17. Roncalli line paved the way for the RB to have 26 carries 335 yards and 5TDs. LT - 6’”7 300 lbs - Iowa commit LG - 6’4” 278 - Getting a hard look from Ball State C - 6’5” 317 - Northern IL commit RG - 6’2” 275- First year starter RT - 6’4” 283 - First year starter
  18. Brebeuf at #1 is stunning. They lost their 2 good WRs that really made their QB look better than he was. The Annee kid made everyone else on the field look slow. Also lost 2 all state DL. East Central has a lot coming back at the skilled postions. #1 at WR is good and they seemed to have a good stable at RB.
  19. Accuracy is an interesting point. 53% completion percentage. Allen completed almost 69% his senior year after only 55% is junior year.
  20. I work with his uncle and yes there is. (The entire family is enormous human beings.)
