Any college team could have given Notre Dame a good game Saturday. The effort level was about as low as I've ever seen it in ND Stadium, and I've seen a lot of games up there, in person and on the tube. Yes, Marshall looked good but we must take into consideration the team they were playing. That was not a typical Notre Dame effort, especially at home.

Yep. The kicker missed an easy kick. Most high school kickers make it from that distance nowadays.

The Colts are well within FG range now in OT. A kick wins. Blankenship on to kick for the win. Colts TO. About a 42 yard attempt. Kick is no good! Texans still have 1;57 to try to win it.

I totally agree with your assessment. Parris Campbell's selection over Terry McLaren is the best example of Ballard's inability as GM. Nice comeback for the Colts!

I agree that Frank's not much of a coach, but Wentz was not worth a dime of what was paid for him. I could give some examples, but we all know what they are.

Wentz was a waste. Ryan has shown some skills. This is a true team "effort." Lots of turnovers and penalties, and Frank had better coaching days too.

It appears that the Colts will continue the tradition of losing the first game of the season. They have moved the ball at times but can't seem to find the endzone. We've seen that act before.

Frost's firing was long overdue. Talk about a coach not belonging in P5 football!

The Irish have passed out of the top 25 in the coach's poll for the first time since 2017. I'm still on the bus with Freeman. It's too early to get that crazy, but yesterday was as ugly as I've seen any Irish team play at home, especially against a 20 point underdog.

It seems the IU QB has trouble with the wet football, but not so with the Idaho QB.

Marcus Freeman is the first Notre Dame coach ever to start 0-3. The first two loses were to top 10 teams but today was a major disappointment.

IU seems to be suffering from cupcakeitis tonight also, trailing 10-0 at halftime against Idaho.

This was an embarrassing loss, especially in ND Stadium. It looked like Pyne wasn't the answer either, but I give him the benefit of the doubt coming off the bench at the end of the game. The O line was pitiful. I don't know if they can get it back in one week. I guess we'll have to see. Looks like a possible Weed Eater Bowl for the Irish this year.

I hate to admit it, but Paul Finebaum was right. This is not a championship contending Notre Dame team.

Notre Dame looks like a +100 team today. If they gave this effort last week, tOSU would have beat 'em by 50. Freeman's got a lot of work to do to get his team back after this performance!

This is the most disgraceful Notre Dame performance I've ever witnessed, and I've seen a few in my 79 years! I cannot believe they went into a prevent with more than 9 minutes left. The safeties were almost on US 31 during the beginning of that drive.
