    I really hope that parents, students and fans follow the professionals and do all we can to assure that we make it through the playoffs. We need to wear our masks and distance ourselves from others as much as possible. It will be a shame if we have to curtail the playoffs because we got careless.

    Here are the test national rankings; Center Grove is ranked 25th and Cathedral 29th according to Max Preps. Center Grove is ranked 14th and Cathedral 25th according to USA Today. It really good to see the state of Indiana, and the Indianapolis area, well represented in the national ranking!😎

    Also Center Grove controlled time of possession. IIRC, they had the ball for 9 minutes more than Cathedral. Also CG's defense is elite!

    If Center Grove isn't hoisting the hardware at LOS, it will be a huge upset! They are solid defensively and the old saying is that defense wins championships. Oh, and their offense ain't too bad either!

    First and foremost, I hope we get to play the finals at Thanksgiving this year, or at all. Things are all that good right now. I believe that emptying the stadium and cleaning it would be good. I do hope there's enough seats so that all the fans of the school will get first choice on the tickets and not just interested onlookers. It's been tough getting to see the games in person this year.

    Can someone please post the scores of the Cathedral/Center Grove JV and Freshman games today. I used to get the scores on twitter or email, but not this season. I should have ended my first sentence with a question mark. It's been a long time since that parochial school education.😉

    Cathedral doesn't have the luxury of a multi million dollar stadium. And by the way it was a JV game. Oh, and ask me with better English next time. Cathedral spend most of their money on education. I'm just funnin' too! Have a good weekend and good luck in the playoffs.

    No one was complaining about the CG facility. If you read my entire post you would see that I made sure I stated it was an outstanding facility. The down and yardage graphics was all that I criticized. You need to read the entire post. The officiating was more than acceptable!

    I see DT is trying to rile things up again. I agree that the play call was bad on the last 4th down play. If you're going to run the ball you need to give it to Jake Langdon. I have no problem going for it on 4th down. I was not impressed with the down and yardage displays on the "scoreboards." CG needs to have a down and yardage that is more legible. Outstanding facility otherwise.

    Great effort on both sidelines! I prefer winning but that was a classic. Folks will be talking about this one for a long time! Not much to choose between those two teams!

    You'd be surprised what I, and a lot of other Irish fans and parents, know. I'm sure Center Grove has the Irish well scouted. They wouldn't be #1 if they didn't.

    Brownsburg must be on fall break because I was out there about 3:30 and didn't see one school bus and very little traffic. It's a shame they can't find a game. Young men want to play ball!

    I don't do predictions and I try to not pass along much information about the team. With that said: GO IRISH!!!!!!!!! Wait 'til the playoffs! Then it's really cold!

    We were able to scrounge a couple of tickets for the game. I sure hate to miss a game, and this one should be a lot of fun. See you there!
