    It looks like this old fan will be home again this week. The game is sold out and I'm without. I hope someone decides to televise this one. Channel 23 has Ben Davis at North Central scheduled. Maybe they will change that when they find out their ratings will be double for the Irish/CG game.

    We're just a small school on top of a hill at 56th and Emerson on the east side of Indianapolis, IN. Oh, we like to play football too.

    In my 65 years of watching Cathedral football and basketball, I've never seen a senior play JV. Whether there's a rule or not, I guess I've never cared.

    I forgot to mention that Irish star receiver Camden Jordan did not play tonight. He was at a baseball camp, baseball being his primary sport.

    Might as well get it started! It is the regular season big game! Both teams 8-0, both teams with a bye in first week of the playoffs and Center Grove is #1 in the Sagarin ratings and Cathedral is #2. It should be a good one and a tough ticket. I'm hoping it's televised in the Indianapolis area for those who are unable to attend.

    Cathedral started slow but got going later on their way to a 49-7 win. Next up the annual game of the century at Center Grove. I hope I get a ticket for this one!

    This game last year was COLD! It was 67 degrees at 6PM and it was in the low 40's before the game was over and it rained hard! The Irish sustained a terrible injury to Camden Jordan during the game. I hope this game is injury free on both sides.

    Yep, Indiana is not in the Eastern Time Zone and we will return to the Central Time Zone someday, probably sometime after I'm dead and gone.

    Don't forget there's one more game to play before the "annual game of the century!" The Irish can't look past another Catholic school, because the Braves would just love to whip up on the Irish. Don't want to sound like Lou Holtz, but you must take it one game at a time and presume that every opponent is dangerous. GO IRISH!!!!!!!!

    The Cathedral Freshman team defeated Lafayette Jeff 36-0 today.

    Another nice team win for the Irish tonight! It included an outstanding catch by Cam Jordan. It was nominated for the Fox59 play of the week and it should win hands down. That young man is an athlete!
