I agree, these are high school kids and D1 talent always scares me come post season, especially first round. I have seen NFL talent defeated during the postseason though. I know Dinan will have them laser focused, well as much as possible, halloween and cheerleader girlfriends are a heck of a combination for some lads! 10 years ago kids from Carroll were ducking out of bounds, damn I wish Dinan could have stayed.

How can a school that large not have the talent on the lines? No wrestlers, shot put or discus guys to pull from? I will give Isaacs credit for churning out linemen, even the smaller ones gain great technique. Do they not have enough coaches? im not talking Northside with more coaches than players, yet at least enough for a solid O-Line coach that could learn a thing a two from some camps? Sorry North, they are just an easy target..

Carroll laid an egg against warsaw a few years back, anything can happen. With the talent the Lions posess I can see them giving the chargers a game. Dinan had two weeks to gameplan though and I bet he unveils a few new wrinkles. Bardo vs Van pelt should be a good one to watch.

Was too busy to look it up...is the stipend larger depending on the school? Just wondered how top talent remains at powerhouse schools n all coaches aren't paid the same..or are they?? Tax payer dollars spread out evenly or what? Is there a buyout offer when a coach needs to go?? School has x amount of kids so coach gets paid z amount? Harding had a HC that taught study hall..wasnt sure what the official stipulations were now a days n if by chance some schools don't get gr8 coaching due to limited options..no teachers want to coach..then what?

Off topic here, wondering if the indy coaches have to teach at the schools as well?

It was the perfect storm for them..sf cleared the way for them to a blue ring that year..sadly the cadets had teams with alot more talent that never made the bus ride to indy..Their feeder program is almost non existent n those Lutheran families aren't as prevalent as they were in the late 90's..

I wonder where they get these guys from..leaders of men are what is needed..not just x's n o's.. multiple D1 kids through the program with one or two currently on the roster n yet still managed to lose it..idk if its team chemistry or if the coaches wanna b the stars rather than allowing the kids to shine..ik a few personally yet won't mention names..

They started dancing n celebrating in those matching outfits too early..some teams just aren't used to winning..

After the Irish win the spread will be the same..js..

Good grief this field seems pretty open in the north...u didnt pick Cathedral?? Blasphemy...

Sparty by by 43- Cadets score late and miss a PAT while Homestead attempts to figure how they have not become the greyhounds of the north....Colors? check, rennovated field? check, coaching?? Carroll by 21- Dinan goes vanilla as he attempts to keep guys healthy, Coach K will have his team do what they do and if this game were off south calhoun i'd give them a better shot. Legends by 9- Good grief, take these panthers off life support and just end the season already..North relishes a victory over the blk and gold this year along with the majority of the city..haters gonna hate n the legends will be dancing like its 1990.. their last sectional title.. Saints by 35- Archers try to play keep away with those athletes yet CYO ball is in full effect come October. I might attend this game just to hear those hits..and enjoy the food trucks of course... Bruins by 27- Generals play their hearts out while Bowen just allows his playmakers to do their thing, with vengance on their mind hopefully the penalties wont get out of hand..

Ill go on a limb and say Dinan will be ready for the playoffs with that WR. He is D1, id go madden and just throw it up every time! I cant buy into crown point just yet..Carmel has not been great in recent years, any chances they stub their toe while learning to be "Carmel" again?

I am biased after watching Cathedral come out to LOS with the bag pipes and guys jumping to tap their Linemen on the shoulder pads a few years back. Any time Cathedral is not in 6a, they are the odds on favorite in my eyes. East Noble might have the best shot from the north, hopefully they save some sides as they might be turkey once the game starts...I kid..The knights have the qb to make it interesting and that freshman is a man child..anyone heard that song yet? If not, dont listen it to. It has an earworm affect. If the pirates play at home, then maybe a big MAYBE, they get some bling.
