  1. Week 6 Picks

    5A #9 Floyd Central (4-1, 2-0 HHC) at Columbus East (2-3, 2-1 HHC)

Jennings County (3-2, 0-2 HHC) at BNL (3-2, 3-0 HHC)

    5A #2 Bloomington North (5-0) at New Albany (1-4)

    2A #1 Brownstown Central (5-0) at Seymour (2-3)

Jeffersonville (0-5) at Silver Creek (3-2)

I feel like the Seymour and Brownstown game could go either way and, whichever team I pick, the opposite team will win. I’ll take Brownstown though because Seymour has been letting me down and I think Reed May’s experience of being a long-time head coach will allow him to figure out a way to neutralize Seymour and their firepower.

  2. This week’s games (week 6):

    5A #9 Floyd Central (4-1, 2-0 HHC) at Columbus East (2-3, 2-1 HHC)

Jennings County (3-2, 0-2 HHC) at BNL (3-2, 3-0 HHC)

    5A #2 Bloomington North (5-0) at New Albany (1-4)

    2A #1 Brownstown Central (5-0) at Seymour (2-3)

Jeffersonville (0-5) at Silver Creek (3-2)

    Notes:

-Floyd Central is #9 in the 5A media poll but unranked in the 5A coaches poll.

-Bloomington North is #2 in both the 5A media and coaches polls.

-Brownstown Central is #1 in both the 2A media and coaches polls.

Looks like the IHSAA did a NW/SE cut for the North/South in the last classification.  I suspect they started from the south and realized that, since Zionsville had moved to 6A finally, when they got to Plainfield and Decatur Central, they needed another two teams to make four in that sectional.  Anderson ended up odd-man-out and got put in with the three Fort Wayne guys and TSC schools, Harrison and McCutcheon, were the other two schools closest to Indy.

Is there a link to the maps for each classification?

Just in my experience, but that is one of, if not the best in the State. And IO can vouch for me, I've been in a lot of them.

That’s the only one I’ve ever been in. Headed home from WWE SummerSlam with my future wife and a couple friends in 2008 and it was the only place open after midnight. I don’t remember what the food was like but that’s where I first became attracted to the woman who would become my future girlfriend/wife. Maybe it was the food…
