Watched two football games today, saw one coach (Kenny Dillingham) who dragged his nuts across the field turf and had ballsy call (fake punt, half back pass) after ballsy call…

Saw another coach (Dan Lanning), waive the white flag on two occasions in the second half and choose to punt on 4th and short, down 3 possessions.

Lanning and Curt Cignetti should take notes and attend a Kenny Dillingham course on how to let your balls hang out when your season is on the line.

@Bobrefsince this question is geared to some of the calls in the CFB Playoffs, who makes the ULTIMATE/FINAL call on a reviewable play?  On field R or “control center”?

Admins…..if you think this should go in the referee section, feel free to move.

Most notable reviewable plays were the potential targeting calls in the UT/ASU game.

The Irish scored 17 points in about a minute over the end of the first half and the start of the 2nd half.  The Irish ran back the 2nd half kickoff to take a 20-3 lead.

Thoughts:
1. The SEC screwed themselves in this playoff setup their commissioner helped create.

2. F' the SEC 🙂

3. None of the teams with a bye won.

4. F' the SEC 🙂

5. The Irish and Ohio State played to win. Aggressive play calling and stealing possessions.

6. F' the SEC 🙂

7. ND penalties were all bad mistakes that should not happen.

8. F' the SEC 🙂

9. Picking ND and Ohio State next week.

10.  F' the SEC 🙂

PS....oh yeah, IU belonged in the playoff. 🙂

Counterpoint:

Zero conference champions, three 2 loss teams and a team that lost to a MAC team?

Tell me again that the regular season matters.

SEC and B1G are killing conference championship games tomorrow.

Regular season still matters. Just more potential elimination games now.

Why would you care what a “racist” “lefty” has to say? Figure it out yourself.

45 minutes after his Alma mater wins its biggest game in 30 years and @Bobref still can’t find happiness and pisses out motor oil.

(By the way, it was me who called (and still believes) you a racist lefty…don’t hold @Sparty responsible for my character assessment.)

Hey Herbstreit ya big 💩.  Maybe Indiana lost 2 games this season to 2 really good teams!!  🤡

Anyone with a brain cell knew two weeks ago that IU's two losses came to two of the top five teams in the country. Quite frankly, it might be the BEST two teams in the country. I'm not right about a lot of things, but I was right about the FACT that IU's admission to the playoffs was justified. The Hoosiers manhandled everyone not named ND and OSU, although Michigan hung in there with them.

One thing that was noticeable this game compared to the other playoff games along with multiple bowl games; there was no visible trash talking or other nonsense when tackles were made. 2 very well coached and disciplined programs.

Add Marcus Freeman to this list.

Guessing he feels so honored to make your list.  Lanning  and Cignetti are simply crushed that they didn’t make it…

BTW, Coach Freeman is a huge Bobref fan…
