I got to go to the game today. Both defenses were amazing! Brownstown’s #31 really stood out defensively. First time Brownstown had not scored a point in a game since 1997!! Super proud of how they represented the MSC!

The 2A game today was like a boxing match where no one was ever able to knock the other out. A tale of two defensive juggernauts really.

Was beyond impressed at how well the BC defense played against a team that was that much bigger than them in size. Those goal line stands were the stuff of legend.

Can’t say enough about how well Brownstown played today. They made every person in this community, beyond proud of them. Congratulations to the Braves on an amazing season. Here’s to next year!

5 current HC openings between the 2 conferences Paoli, Mitchell, Salem, Silver Creek, and now Madison. Tons of openings on this southern part of the state including some HHC teams. Is this one of the largest years of change for the area?

How would you rank the jobs?

Silver Creek

Paoli

Salem

Madison

Mitchell would be mine. Salem has good facilities but tougher in MSC. Gotta keep kids from leaving. Mitchell also has good facilities but being close to BNL makes it tough for athletes to stay and they cant seem to get out of bottom of PLAC.

Pap resigned. I would rank the jobs as

Silver Creek

Paoli

Salem

Mitchell

Madison.

I just read what the former Madison coach had to say on Facebook, if even remotely true, yikes. Mitchell and Salem are closer imo than most would say.

Essentially accusing the school of not being committed to football or him. (Allegedly) the school would not host any pep rally for the team during the 2024 season after the one they had scheduled got rained out. Even when they made it to the sectional championship. Then (allegedly) the school was not trying to find a position in the school for him to work. He was struggling financially because of this.

Regardless of how grievous, it’s NEVER a good look to air your laundry publicly. No way he walks away from that post looking good to ANY potential new employer. And regardless of how convincing his post might have been, I would be willing to bet the farm, there’s another side to this story.

In my experience. If they're willing to air dirty laundry, then they've got a pile of their own.
