How do you address taking out surprise onside kicks in the NFL?

What’s there not to hate? To many touchbacks. More injuries worst starting field possession. I’d penalize teams for putting it in end zone like the nfl is talking about doing. Probably won’t happen but has been brought up in the owners meetings

After thinking about my self I think it would let them do both 1 and 2.

on punts I think we need to do away with this.  If a punt is mufed and ball goes into the end zone it is not a dead ball but still live and  kick team can recover it.

I do see not how a lot would have to change. Ball goes into the end zone on a kick off they can run it out, if it is far cought in the side 20 ball it place at the 20 first down, and the last thing ball is live until it is recovered no mater where it ends up as  long it is stays in bounds
