Well, I guess Alabama was deserving…or is this where we crap on Oklahoma?

I can’t keep up.

Not every program can beat the Tide in the postseason I guess.

Takes a special group for sure.

Congrats to Bama for breaking their two year losing streak in postseason play.

Gotta give Bama credit. On the road in a tough environment down 17 and then put on a clinic. Hoosiers currently a 6 pt favorite, but going to be a tough challenge against the Tide. ESPN currently has Indiana at 70% matchup predictor.

Michigan going to have to wait a little longer for a coach it would seem…

Thoughts on the game:

Didn't watch it. No interest in a game featuring two teams inferior to Notre Dame. Picked up a recording this morning, not much else on at 3:30am, right after Alabama made it 17-7. Oklahoma had a nice pass that was dropped by a running back that would have put them in position to go up 24-7. That was it, looked up the final outcome on ESPN.

Tulane and James Madison are a waste of time in my opinion. I'm intrigued by the A&M vs Miami game though. I think the Hurricanes are playing with a chip on their shoulder. I hope they win one for the ACC.

On Gameday this morning. There is some truth. ND not a victim and the martyrdom getting old. I like the Irish a bunch, but anyone saying they would lay wood to Bama is kidding themselves. It would be a dogfight.

Whatever. But my question remains unanswered: What would you have them do now, other than exactly what they are doing?

Whatever. Let’s have all these things happen, which were avoidable had action been taken in the moment, and say we have done all we can do NOW…

You're smarter than this. For the millionth time, new D coordinator, new quarterback, different team now. Vegas sees it, Saban sees it, film specialists see it. And some fan holding a sign is supposed to hold some kind of weight?

Look, I'll give you your Hoosiers, damn good team. Georgia? Looking pretty good . Ohio State? Well, they're Ohio State. But there's not a team playing this weekend that could beat Notre Dame right now. I'd say that's closer to fact than it is opinion.

@temptation was right. The trademark of a true hater: unable to concede that Michigan is doing the right thing, if belatedly. Credibility = 0 as a result.

Doing the right thing? 3 years too late? New lows for you..Ohio reacted very quickly to a situation far less worse than Michigan. That is how you react

Nick Saban and Urban Meyer agree with you about Tulane and James Madison not being in the CFP.

Too old for me.  Want a long term guy.

I just thought interesting former Michigan great shared this. Has an outstanding reputation and that is much needed for a recently stained program.

Well, the two imposters are gone early.  I'm sure no one is surprised.

I have such mixed emotions....I hate this turn into nothing but a P4 + ND tournament....but guessing where its headed.  I just remember upsets such as Boise State over Oklahoma in a major bowl game, I want to believe that potential is always out there.  JMU did put a bunch of points on Oregon in the second half, but guessing their team shut down with such a big lead.

If this does turn into a P4 tournament...there has to be something for G5 schools to play for besides a conference championship.  My guess is that some of the bowl games will remain for conferences such as the MAC, American, Sun Belt, Conference USA, etc.  and for the P4 schools not making the playoffs.  Seniors can then decide if they wish to play or hope they make the NFL.
