New look for the Conference as there will be an opening for a non conference game this season. So far, these are the only confirmed  non conference games:

Week 2: Reitz vs Tri-West (At Gibson Southern)

Week 9: Jasper at Columbus North

Haven't seen any other schedule announcements.
Vincennes had Memorial Week 8.  Looking at Memorial's Eventlink Calendar schedule, they still have Vincennes shown as a game for 2026 for that week.  That may be just because they haven't updated it with someone new yet.  Or Memorial may keep them as a non-conference since they are in Sectional 32.  Memorial added Northview to schedule when they moved to 4A sectional 24 in 2019.

Some of the schools still have them on there, so I’m assuming they haven’t updated it yet. Also, Lincoln has Sullivan scheduled for Week 8 for next year anyways, since their schedule is out.

Update:

Looks like Boonville has filled some of the non-conference spots

Week 1: Boonville at Bosse

Week 4: Boonville at Central

Week 5: Castle at Boonville

Lincoln and North are keeping their game for Week 7. So North’s schedule is pretty much the same again, but having another home game.

The Northview game in 2019 wasn't really tied into Memorial getting SF'ed into 4A. It was just to get a one-year deal to fill the schedule because the IN/KY Border Bowl series had fallen apart after 2018, our AD at the time was a lazy @$$hole and didn't work hard enough or proactively to find an opponent and it was an easy fix to fill the open spot.

Smart scheduling on Boonville's part.  And they will love the gate $$ from Week 5.

Speaking of gate receipts. Providence will be thrilled hosting Harrison.  They will get dozens of dollars.  Might even hit triple digits.

But they might have a fan bus. Same as the team bus, just filling in the open seats...

Here's my WAY TO EARLY predictions for next years SIAC standings.    Of course there will be 9 months of weight room, maturing, and probably transfers, but this is my take on what I see leaving and returning to varsity as well as what I saw in the JV games.

Actual          OMT Prediction
2025   Win Loss   2026
1 Memorial 9 0   1 Memorial
2 North 7 2   2 Jasper
3 Jasper 7 2   3 Reitz
4 Castle 6 3   4 North
5 Reitz 6 3   5 Mater Dei
6 Mater Dei 4 5   6 Castle
7 Vincennes 3 6   7 Harrison
8 Harrison 2 7   8 Central
9 Central 1 8   9 Bosse
10 Bosse 0 9

I blieve most coaches would tell you that it is undesirable to play sectional opponents during the regular season.

And I would agree to a certain extent. I would love to see us add a quality opponent and if it was you guys or HH who would be (normally) sectional opponents I'd be fine with that because it would be a great games, good gates, etc. There is no reason for us to continue to play Lincoln.

Ha....Boonville was adamant they didn't want to be a member of the SIAC - but have no problem scheduling Bosse and Central in their open weeks. I better not type out the rest of what I'm thinking...

Probably so.  I do believe it was the Northview coach that made the sectional comment about scheduling Memorial game in 2019.

About everyone’s schedule is completed with a non-conference opponent besides Mater Dei and Memorial. Guessing we will hear something soon. However, Reitz vs Tri-West and Jasper at Columbus North will be intriguing matchups for the season.

Say what you want about Coach Mullins, but in his 5 years he seemed to be trying to do things the right way. I thought the comment about "keeping the kids that are supposed to come to Bosse" was interesting. That will still be a challenge.

Still nothing regarding Mater Dei’s non conference game.

I've been a bit out of the loop recently, but I like Floyd Central over New Pal, which is what I had been hearing from good sources was one of the few available options for Memorial. FC is a good 5A program and we should be more competitive with them than we would have been against New Pal.

Didn’t Memorial have a couple of summer scrimmages with New Pal a couple of years ago? I think it was before the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

Yes. Maybe even as recently as 2024 too, but I'm not 100% sure.
