Purdue Pete Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 Source / link plz...If true I would suspect he is the victim of contact tracing like the coach of Columbia City was last week. If actually positive the impact would be different / broader Quote

I have a personal experience at this point, and its a concern. I am struggling with both officiating, and the ability to forgo our crew's exposure to anyone who has had contact with anyone else with COVID. 1 Quote
Indian72 Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 This is all very real and when you have a large number of people who feel they do not have to follow nor adhere to guidelines here is not much to do Quote

Is Concordia considered a part of FWCS? Hoping they will still host a limited amount of fans at home games? Quote

clhs2man Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 This was not a Summit Athletic Conference decision it was a Fort Wayne Community Schools decision to not have fans. Concordia is an independent parochial Lutheran school and therefore does not need to follow Fort Wayne Community Schools guidelines. As of last night we will still be hosting fans. Could this change later in the week? In these times anything can change. 1 Quote

Hence the game that Homestead was hosting vs. Warsaw was moved (LAST NIGHT) to Warsaw. Quote

Yuccaguy Posted November 1, 2020 Posted November 1, 2020 Nope. Some schools' fan travel more than others. There's no way the Knights would gain anything going TO Butler. Quote

I am pretty sure that those same Luers parents (coaches and players) aren't expecting to lose. Besides, it works both ways...Eastside wouldn't have fans either. Quote

Homestead apparently thought allowing fans / parents to see the game was more important than home field. Quote

That's a heck of an observation there "Sherlock" Kinda takes us back to the original tenor of MY point.. Some schools travel better than others. No disrespect to Luers. But they honestly fall in the lower portion of SAC schools whose fans 'travel. Whereas: Homestead; Carroll; Dwenger and Snider (Concordia not withstanding) seem always bring a dedicated number of fans on the road. Quote
