Gipper Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Has diagnosed with COVID-19. Although he will not play against Boston College this weekend, I do wonder how long he’ll be out. I think this will have an impact on the College Football Playoff. Quote
Bobref Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 (edited) He’s required to isolate 10 days before he can practice. That means he’ll miss their game against Boston College this weekend. His status is uncertain for the big one at Notre Dame Nov. 7. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/30219908/trevor-lawrence-positive-covid-19-miss-boston-college-clemson Edited October 30, 2020 by Bobref 1 Quote

But the ACC policy says “at least” 10 days, and he does have symptoms. “The rules established by the ACC's medical advisory group require anyone testing positive for COVID-19 to isolate for at least 10 days after the test before returning to practice, assuming they no longer are showing symptoms. That would also put Lawrence at risk for missing the Nov. 7 showdown with No. 4 Notre Dame.“ (emphasis supplied.) Quote

Lawrence plays and Clemson plays OR if he can not, Clemson does not play that week. Quote

Bobref Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 13 minutes ago, DE said: Why? Because ACC protocol won’t allow it ... at least, not without multiple additional positives. I think Dabo is the south end of a northbound horse, but he would never allow that to happen. Quote
Coach Nowlin Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Thier 5 star Freshman QB will be just fine tomorrow and when they play ND as well Quote

They have a better QB room than most NFL teams. 36 minutes ago, Bobref said: Because ACC protocol won’t allow it ... at least, not without multiple additional positives. In other news, I hear the Purdue-Illinois game may not take place. Quote

Indian72 Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 I am one who believes while this is a big game, the loser can redeem themselves on Dec 19th barring neither team losing to that point. And with the way covid is exploding with the holidays coming up who knows where things will be Quote

DE Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Maybe it won’t even matter. 🤫 Maybe it won’t even be #1 vs #4. BC 21 @ Clemson 7 Q2 A lot of time left in this game. Quote
Coach Nowlin Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 BC looks way better once they got rid of that slap...... who already is in trouble at Colorado state.... Tough to pull it out on the road... good effort Quote
Gipper Posted October 31, 2020 Author Posted October 31, 2020 Tigers pulled out a close one. They’ll need Trevor back... Quote
Bobref Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Dabo has announced that Lawrence is out for the trip to Notre Dame. No problem. We’ll settle his hash in the ACC Championship game. Quote
Irishman Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Just announced on FS1, Trevor Lawrence is not playing next week. Quote
