tango Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 Somewhat disappointing night for the SIAC with Castle and North both losing winnable games, especially Castle at home. The other games went mostly as expected. Congrats to Lincoln for a big win to make the S30 title game and Bosse for giving HH a better contest than what I expected in S32. I was also surprised Reitz hung around so long against Northview. The conference has a chance for 3 titles next week. I would say MD is a heavy favorite, while Lincoln and Memorial will be underdogs with tough challenges ahead. Quote

TruthHammer Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 Reitz hung in there with the help of the 70+ flea flicker and an onside kick in the 2nd half and their kids, particularly the Seniors played hard....kind of a microcosm of their season, really....when these things were successful, they kept things competitive against better teams. That's not a great formula for success. Their wins the last couple of years have come by beating Harrison, Bosse, VL and Boonville. Quote
