It’s like the old saying goes. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. If you’re good at football you’re bound to have more players. If you’re bad at football you’re bound to have fewer players. I watched the Glicod show and I got the sense that their new coach seems pretty competent. He came from Male HS. Didn’t have the same vibe from some of the other new coaches I saw. I think him, Dave Papenhaus and the guy at East will improve the quality of the HHC. Edited yesterday at 01:32 PM by Fkfootball Quote
Fkfootball Posted yesterday at 01:35 PM Posted yesterday at 01:35 PM Also, I went to the scrimmage at Charlestown. I think FC has about 15 assistant coaches this year. I’ve never seen that many Assts before. Charlestown is a pretty good team too. They won the Sectional last year. I think a lot of teams would love to have the QB that they have. He’s good. Quote

Frozen Tundra Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago It’s time for HHC Pick ‘Em 2026. If you are tagged, let me know if you hope to compete again this year. Others are welcome to join as well. Please note that you have to submit picks every single week before kickoff time if you want to be a part of the main competition. If you don’t, I will still allow you to submit picks and will display your totals in relation to others who failed to pick every game. However, you’ll be tabulated based on percentage and won’t be eligible to win the main competition. @LC_Bears_04 @boilerfan87 @Impartial_Observer @Olympian06 @Fkfootball @SPARKS @Bulldog15 @Uncle Bubba @mamasa @gonzoron @Bluejacket1 @Owls2005 @LawrenceGreene @billybob @starbacker @swcgillespie @Goose10 Week 1 Schedule Martinsville at BNL Columbus East at Mooresville 5A #9/#10 Floyd Central at 3A #2 Gibson Southern Jeffersonville at Lawrence Central 2A #8 Providence at New Albany Seymour at Greenwood 1 Quote

Fkfootball Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) How sad is it that I picked every HHC team to lose? To be fair, I know very little about these teams. I obviously know FC well and if they were at home, I would’ve picked them. But a road game at G.S. is going to be extremely tough. Edited 4 hours ago by Fkfootball Quote
ptr Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Pick-em selections Martinsville @ BNL The Arties are led by one of the better QBs in the Indy metro area in 6'6' jr Chase Davis and he will be throwing a lot to WR Landon Cazee who led the team in receiving yards last season. The Arties by at least three TDs. Columbus East @ Mooresville East will be starting a new QB on the road, who was the JV QB last season, and will be facing a team that had a similar record last season, although the Pioneers played in a much stronger conference being the Mid-State Conference. The Pioneers by two to three scores. 5A #9/#10 Floyd Central @ 3A #2 Gibson Southern There is nothing to go by from a performance standpoint since it is the season opener. This is a very difficult game to predict so I will be going with the home team. Jeffersonville @ Lawrence Central Bloomington South scrimmaged LC this past Friday and South coach Gabe Johnson described the Bears as big, strong, and physical with a lot of team speed. LC has Texas A&M recruit CB Errol Kerns III on defense and he may see some time on offense. This will be a very long, long night for the Red Devils and one could very well name the score. 2A #8 Providence @ New Albany Until the Bulldogs show me otherwise that they are improved, and given their recent football history, I will go with the road team. Seymour @ Greenwood I know absolutely nothing about the prospects this season for either team, so I will go with the home team. 1 Quote
