AW0352
Some of these lines are…just odd. Jasper and Harrison are favored? Maybe I’m wrong. Castle and Vincennes is gonna tell us a lot in the conference.

Now, whether they are 4 point favorites is debatable, but they are better than years past.

I do think the initial reaction was seeing Memorial being underdogs after beating the 2A#3 Mater Dei. Can it be a close game? Last couple of games have said so

If they keep Sutton I don’t see how they don’t get better each year.

Even though they are totally different teams now. Neither Jasper or Harrison should be favored I don't think.
tango
Reitz by 35 over Central MD over Jasper by 14 Memorial by 21 in the < upset ? > North over Bosse by 27 Lincoln keeps rolling in a FG squeaker over Castle
Evansville50
Is this the worst the SIAC has been in years? Central and Bosse=Dumpster Fire Harrisons = worst offense I’ve ever seen, better on Defense MD, North, Castle , Vincennes, Jasper= Not really impressive. Most years would finish under 500. Objectively they all have flaws that good teams don’t . Memorial= still who knows??? Reitz = won the off season recruiting and it shows on the field. Maybe Lucas Oil future Edited September 11, 2022 by Evansville50

TigerFan20
MasseyRating Lines: Central at Reitz (-21), 76% chance of victory for the Panthers Vincennes at Castle (-19), 86% chance of victory for the Knights Mater Dei at Jasper (-4), 56% chance of victory for Jasper North (-19) at Bosse, 81% chance of victory for the Huskies Memorial (-21) at Harrison, 89% chance of victory for the Tigers
Football Fanatic
Central @ Reitz - Panthers win big with a running clock and stay unbeaten. I think Central can take a positive away if they can score once or twice. Mater Dei @ Jasper - would not be surprised by a close game or even a Jasper upset, but I think MD gets back on track with a big road win here. Memorial @ Harrison - Memorial is back according to Mr. Collins. I think they struggle a bit with Harrison but eventually pull away. North @ Bosse - North will be looking to bounce back in a big way after getting pummeled by Reitz. I think they win with a running clock. Vincennes @ Castle - Game of the week for sure. Vincennes is capable of winning this game but I think they fall a bit short. They rely a lot on their QB to make plays with his legs but the Castle defense will make that difficult. However, the VL defense is very good itself. Can Castle score enough on the Vincennes defense to win? I think so, barely. Should be a close game. FootballFan2000
Anyone know why Guerzini didn't play against Harrison? Rest? I know he played every snap against Bosse until Castle took their starters out. Hopefully he is good to go against VL, should have a big game. Reitz will easily cover...more like (-35) VL and Castle should be a pick'em..(-1) either way MD has struggled the last two weeks but they should be (-4) with Jasper (+4) IMO North (-19) probably make the most sense Memorial wins but not sure they will cover Edited September 13, 2022 by SEAL_63

LOL. With those lines, I would take: Central to cover (I think it would be a BAD political move for Coach Brunson / Reitz to beat the EVSC AD's former school that bad Castle and the points with VL ML MD and the points (is Jasper still short-handed? Their O looked worse than ours in Wk. 2) sprinkle North to cover Memorial to cover an alt. spread of -16 for the Uncle Buck big payday of the year

FootballFan2000
Reitz will hang 50-60+ MD by 10 Memorial by at least 2 scores North by 3 scores If everyone is back for the Knights, I expect them to win by 10+ Still waiting to hear why exactly Castle's RB was out last week. Anyone know?
