  2. Thanks. Interesting that Bloomington is becoming just like Tuscaloosa, Columbus OH, Ann Arbor, Austin, etc.
  3. Today
  4. I am willing to bet Frankfort HS/school system is willing to accept cash donations.......
  5. Since you didn't update, charges dropped almost a week ago.... https://bloomingtonian.com/2026/07/24/iu-football-player-tyrone-burrus-jr-will-not-face-charges-following-bloomington-arrest/
  6. What's really caught my attention is how quiet social media has been about RP this summer. Almost too quiet. Last summer it seemed like all the talk was about finally beating SP. This summer...nothing. Does Coach Tenderloin have the team everyone thinks he does? Or are we under some kind of Tenderloin Media Moratorium? 😂 Is South Vermillions hanging a 7-7 championship banner?

This summer...nothing. Does Coach Tenderloin have the team everyone thinks he does? Or are we under some kind of Tenderloin Media Moratorium? 😂 I’m not sure the film matches the assessment you were text. The Panthers threw the ball 48 times all of last season. Unless Billy Bettis gets his way, I’m not sure 7v7 is something RP puts a lot of stock in. And btw, I’m not sure Coach Tenderloin has social media, an iPhone or knows what a Snaptweet is. The man may still carry a flip phone. He may still use Mapquest for the away games.
  9. yet perfectly legaal 1900 miles to the west. should of travelled ...
  10. I wouldn't mind some variation in the middle, but I like having Jasper Wk.1 and Castle Wk.9. I doubt the schedules will ever change unless there is some significant change in the conference (adding / dropping a team). As is, the ADs don't have to do much except fill the open spot left by VL.

  13. Good to hear about NV. Take this for what it's worth. I got this text over the weekend: "RP looked a little more human against Sheridan than some expected. Both top-10 teams. Didn't look like they dominated from start to finish. They also got waxed by SV at the Rose-Hulman 7-on-7." What's really caught my attention is how quiet social media has been about RP this summer. 15. In reference to schedules… does it annoy anyone else that the schedule for SIAC vs SIAC teams never changes? Wish they would leave the rivalry week games the same, but rotate the rest. For example I wish Castle and North didn’t always play week 1.
  16. Good interview with Coach Campbell on the Columbus East Athletic Department Facebook page. For a young guy, he’s very well spoken and seems very knowledgeable. Will it translate on the field? We’ll see. With the offense they’re running, I’m sure it’s going to take time.
  17. I'm a little late to the party on this one. But it's another example of how the Indy Star and FW Journal Gazette push racism narrative any time they can. They are always one sided stories and rarely believable. Never mix politics with business, something the media still hasn't learned. The FW Journal Gazette has lost a massive number of subscribers. I'm sure the Indy Star is suffering the same fate.
  18. No hyperbole: A Merriam-Webster definition of the word "War" Defines exactly what is going on here.
  19. QB at NV is Owen Hinchee. I believe he is a Sophomore and he can throw one heck of a ball. Offensively it looks like they were doing a little bit of everything. They did use a TE / H back a lot in the scrimmage. I do think they will be much improved from last year. From what I have heard Sheridan and North Davies both went toe to toe with the Panthers. Good competitive scrimmages. I also say the article on Salts. Great kid and probably one of the better qbs in the conference. Looking for a big year for sure
  20. I believe it was a slight at the hyperbolic nature of this thread title.
  21. I agree and I am familiar with the history. When I wrote it, I though it was a stretch to overlap the timelines as much as I did for the strong program vs not so strong for the 3 programs mentioned. That's why I said "over all" was not, meaning the 80's and beyond. There was not much success after him, which also supports, my main point.

  24. I’d say by the time we see them late in the season, they should be pretty tough. What all does Gibson have this year? Who are the players to keep an eye on? We play you guys pretty early.
