  1. Past hour
  2. I’d put Floyd Central in the “teams to watch” category.
  3. Good win for Warren Central, for sure. Congratulations to them. I have no doubt that WC beat a very good CG team, not a team having a "down" year. The top three is going to be tough to crack though.
  4. Didn't they have like 3 SEC type dlineman on a team that didn't make it past the regional? And haven't made it past the regional since 2018 other than last year? Just a hunch that is why.
  5. Last Friday had some surprises with Small School Division teams winning 3 matchups against Big Schools. Throw in North Daviess handling Washington. Forest Park, Tecumseh, and North Posey over Mt Vernon, Princeton, and Southridge. Just one week. But maybe something to keep an eye on as the season progresses.
  6. My bad. I known how good they are but the Rubbers seem to get a lot of the 6A love. I did say I have a lizard brain, but best of luck to the Jeff Georges…
  7. Warren beating Center Grove really shouldn’t have been surprising. They just beat them in the regional and returned most of the team. If Carmel or CG or any other historical power returned the amount of D1 talent that Warren has after a semi state run, we’d be talking about them on a short list of favorites to make it to Lucas Oil. Not sure why everyone is sleeping on Warren.
  8. Today
  9. Hypothetically speaking, if Center Grove beats Carroll next week, are we going to believe in the Warren hype train? Seeing how they went on the road with a backup QB and beat CG…..
  10. Week 2 Pick’em 🏈 Corydon @ Paoli Crawford County vs Brown County (Game played @ Mitchell) Forest Park @ Perry Central Mitchell @ Springs Valley West Washington @ Tell City Charlestown @ Brownstown Madison @ Jennings County Salem @ Silver Creek Scottsburg @ North Harrison
  11. Thinking of a few more, Chris Berman style—the Adams Central Flying (not Jacuzzi) Jets, the Laville Lance Bassers, the Marion They Might Be Giants, and the Sullivan Shoot that Golden Arrow (s).
  12. Got it. Not too familiar with that part of the state. Just was a little surprised to see an A school take a bigger one to the woodshed. I’m sure Bobby Plump is smiling…
  13. Week 2 Corydon @ Paoli Crawford County vs Brown County (Game played @ Mitchell) Forest Park @ Perry Central Mitchell @ Springs Valley West Washington @ Tell City Charlestown @ Brownstown Madison @ Jennings County Salem @ Silver Creek Scottsburg @ North Harrison
  14. That's 4 straight for Milan over rushville. Not surprising. Maybe the shutout part
  15. We're doing two polls: 1A-3A and 4A-6A. You can vote in both
  16. https://1075thefan.com/schedule/indiana-sports-talk/ Just stream it from here. That's what I do from Boston.
  17. That's fine. I still think they will win the game by a wide margin.
  18. Maybe there’s more to it than my lizard brain can process, but some outcomes were a bit surprising: Milan beating Rushville Yotktown destroying Anderson…by 83!!! North Central beating Brebeuf Warren Central slipping by Center Grove Noblesville annihilated Tech Hanover Central took care of Michigan City Are we in the end of days? BTW, South Newton won their inaugural 8-man tilt against Waldron.
  19. Week 2 Pick’em 🏈 Get your picks in by Friday @ 7 PM. Good luck! 👊 Corydon @ Paoli Crawford County vs Brown County (Game played @ Mitchell) Forest Park @ Perry Central Mitchell @ Springs Valley West Washington @ Tell City Charlestown @ Brownstown Madison @ Jennings County Salem @ Silver Creek Scottsburg @ North Harrison
  20. It sure looks like the Colt starters better stay healthy this season. The Falcons non starters had their way yesterday.
  21. Snider choked the Warsaw game away, plain and simple. 97 yard td with under two minutes to go? Inexcusable!!! Up 12 points with under six minutes to go… Not buying Warsaw one bit. Likely will see them again in sectionals
  22. I'd like to see a few more weeks first. Warsaw was down 30-18 in the 4th and we don't really know how good Snider is yet. We know both teams struggled last season. It's hard to jump to a conclusion until we see them face someone other than themselves. Still throwing darts this time of the year when it comes to polls. I'll give them HM if they beat Northrop next week. But I'd do so reluctantly. We don't know anything about Northrop right now other than they are loaded with talent. New coach, lots of questions. The Tigers need to earn their way back, last season was bad.
