Do you happen to know when Indiana Deaf started going by the Orioles nickname? Everything I had always seen said they were called the Deaf Hoosiers. -

I would pump the brakes a little. The good: Cutler Chastain is a SPECIAL athlete at QB. Really curious how teams try to contain him. They have weapons all over the field, Horton is the "Steady Eddy" in the backfield. Tidd does a great job play calling as well. The defense took care of business against a Marty team that had some quality players back in week 1. The bad: Depth. A LOT of guys playing both ways. Really curious what that looks like after a couple weeks. A big key is going to be how much the underclassmen develop over the season. I personally think BNL runs the table until the meet FC. Too much depth, especially by that point in the season IMO. -
Should be a good test against linton. Wonder why ND and WW don't play in Jr high. WW made the trip to North Decatur Saturday. Heck of trip for JR high game.

Has anyone checked to see how Illinois handles co-op football? https://www.ihsa.org/schools/cooperative-teams By the way, IHSA.org is a far superior website compared to IHSAA.org. -

They can't. NFL rules.

Yeah, we are. And the local Indy stations, primarily Fox 59, have this annoying habit of if the Colts have a home game being shown on the CBS affiliate they will not broadcast a regional game (like Bears vs. X) in that same time slot. Instead they will broadcast insipid tripe like reruns of Modern Family.

Look like enrollment for the Tri-Creek School Corporation peaked in 2008-09 and has slowly trended downwards from there: https://ballotpedia.org/Tri-Creek_School_Corporation,_Indiana#Students How can a government school corporation continue to provide the same level of services with almost 500 less students? Taxpayers shouldn't be on the hook to fund essentially empty school bus seats and empty classroom desks.

Attica at Tri County - An injured and depleted Attica team gets a W at Tri-County to push them into conference play next week. Attica 20 TC 6 Covington at Englewoods - Everyone time I see Englewood, I think a team from Compton, CA has come to Indiana. Covington by a million. stat padder.... They are a true beneficiary of a light schedule to start the season. Cov 50 Engelwood ("Up to no good" -- TuPac California Love) 18 Fountain Central at Crawfordsville - I saw the highlight of the end of last week's game vs Southmont. What a heartbreaker. Coach Earl will have to wait another week to get his first win. Crawfordsville 22 FC 12 Paris, Il. at North Vermillions. I don't know much about either team. This is NV's chance to snag a win before a tough next couple weeks. I don't think it happens. Paris 34 NV 22 Seegers at Benton Central: The Patriots will open up the field and toss the ball all night. Maybe even get a D1 TE to submit his transfer papers... Seeger 48 BC 6 South Vermillions at Sullivan - Curious to see the SV's please stand up, please stand up (Hey, its a 90's rap theme week for me). I know nothing about North Knox, but Sullivan ran for 300+ and had 17 TFL's. I think the Purple Golden Arrows put up 50 (Cent) on the Wildcats and dominate up front. Sullivan 50 SV 30 West Vigos at The Woofs: The Woofs nearly pulled off a big win last week vs Crawfordsville just before a late interception near the endzone. Coach Rector opened up the offense and I'm sure the fanbase was doing cartwheels. I look for a repeat only the Woofs get the W PH 30 WV 13 Riverton Parkes at Tri on Saturday. - Is RP that good or is Linton down this year? Checking RP's stats, you see some common names like McConnell and Collom but have zero clue who the others that are showing up. Where do they get all these guys?? Tri does have an all-state back who's a stud. Can the Panther's contain him or are they overconfident from last week? I think Tri's speed and all-state back humble the Panthers before conference season starts and get the W. Tri 35 RP 30 -
NFL Sunday Ticket is no longer worth the price
Coach Nowlin replied to Muda69's topic in The Next Level
assuming your in the Colts market then? Good news is Bears are on ALOT of national tv this year 🙂 -
https://www.foxnews.com/outkick-sports/nfl-sunday-ticket-no-longer-worth-price-bobby-burack Yep, I've been debating on whether or not to re-up Sunday Ticket for the 2026 season. And with these games moving to Netflix (which I currently don't subscribe to) the equation for me also comes out to it's not worth the price. Now if I could purchase a streaming package (for my TV, not a phone, laptop, or tablet) of just every Bears and Colts game, at a reasonable price, that is something I would entertain.

Again: Sell the idea of CO OP where when a school takes on say 5 players from neighboring district , but for classifications purposes requires the entire school new enrollment be the total of the school you are co op with. What Administration would be willing to move up most likely 2 classes to take on a handful of neighboring players....... NO CHANCE ESPECIALLY, when there is a very plausible and easier way to have kids play a game..... So Wabash, Co Cops with Northfield HS: Combined Enrollments pushes them now from 1A to 3A.... So that is worth it to bump up classifications like that so a traditional 11 man game can be played vs a game which... wait for it.... is TACKLE FOOTBALL, played with 3 less players and smaller field by 13.5 yards WIDE, but its still 100 yards length
