And little ole Pioneer High School just won their 3rd state title in lady's sports for 2020-21 (volleyball, basketball, softball). Way to go Pioneer. Sorry, just had to congratulate this awesome accomplishment to the ladies of Pioneer HS. Carry on.

You can coach the snot out of a 6'0" lineman and the Power 5s won't have any interest. Many on the Top 250 list have been well coached but most won the DNA lottery.

I certainly would assume so…especially this far into the offseason. this is exciting news though. My senior year of high school was Coach Harts 1st season as coach for the football team (2012?) and let me tell you the difference in atmosphere in the school once he arrived immediately changed….for all sports… he brought an energy to the football team and it spread like wildfire in the best way. GS sports really became a pride and joy for the community and many of the kids and it definitely shows still beyond that, I think this shows another level of commitment to the Gibson Southern community….it seems like every year there are a few talking heads that ask if Coach Hart will ever consider leaving GS for reitz or a college program or some other big school gig..and this kinda just makes me think all of that can be put to rest. Taking the position as AD, at least in my opinion, means he is going to be sticking around for a while…and that’s always good news

Saw Coach Hart was just named Athletic Director for Gibson Southern. I’m assuming he will still coach

Honestly, with 5000 students, anything less than a state championship in any sport should be considered a disappointment. Lol, I think you're right. Even with the population difference between the two states, Indiana's 8 doesn't compare to Florida's 33. That's an impressive number.

Pioneer has the best 1A public program. There's a reason why they are now in 2A for the second classification cycle. Pioneer has the best public small school athletic program in the entire state right now.
