Leo takes on Chatard in 2026 and Homestead in 2027. Great moves for the program. Slowly making a name for themselves in NE Indiana and working their way up as one of the better programs.
As much as I like the Homestead game, I'm wondering if the Spartans are ditching Indy for a more winnable game. Great move if their goal is to win the SAC title. Not so much if they're trying to win state. I do think the Spartans might be on an uptick this season.
I may be overstepping my boundaries here and not staying on subject, but I often hear comparisons of professional basketball players in the 80s/90s versus today…
Modern NBA players are also bigger, faster, and stronger but (without giving @Bobref a coronary), rules, and how games are officiated are much different.
The amount of holding and grabbing that used to be allowed in both sports would challenge today’s teams greatly.
It's turf. I did find more info on it. Adding visiting side bleachers as well. When my kid played their for JR high couple years ago i said it felt like playing at a local park. Think new scoreboard going in as well.
Ask penn is questionable
No hate to Snyder only penn
Also no team from the 80s or 90s would stand up to a similarly sized team of the same caliber now.
