Yeah, I had the dubious honor of watching my son puke his guts out about 8 feet in front of me at St. X some years back. Sometimes being close isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

That whole last season was a real enigma. Mentally challenging year, all the up and down play that they had. He probably wants to put it all behind, a change of scenery is his way of getting there. But I still like the indiana guys to stay in state.

All schools have the ability to do what Webo did. Its not like Webo decided that now is the time (30 years later) to win state again. Is the success factor flawed? Is there a better way? We have all had those threads and discussed at length. Yes, Webo Remained in 2A after winning a State Championship and a sectional in the 2 year cycle of 2017 & 2018 (not enough points per the IHSAA success factor). Webo then won state Titles in the 2 year cycle of 2019 & 2020 and after defeating Heritage Christian in Regional we knew that Webo was going to be in In 3A. We know we are 3A. We (and I think Chatard and LCC are in the same boat) just dont understand if we are in for 1 year, 2 years, or 3 years. No one seems to have that answer. Thats all I am looking for is clarity.

I understood your point. I was making an attempt at humor - which Lysander picked up on. If you are like me and have both Protestant and Catholic sides of the family, the Catholic/Christian discussion can turn interesting at times. A wedding, baptism, confirmation, etc. can turn into the English War for Reformation if you're not careful.
