  1. I think it is clear as day that Zionsville is the #2nd best 5A team in Indiana! Cathedral is a whole different animal...
  2. Thankfully I went to Lutheran schools in Saint Louis. Oh wait....I forgot that we always needed to 'light a match' after lunch, many a time!
  3. Unless and UNTIL the Summit Athletic Conference sees itself as more than a 'feeder' for the lower classified schools that are also in the Conference; I would expect NOTHING to change, with respect to Football. Decent records, gaudy numbers...early exits. Upsets to teams they should obliterate. I will again say, that the ONLY way the Northern 6A schools can establish themselves as anything other than 'roadkill' on the way to LOS for the schools nearer to Indianapolis, Is to form a Football only conference and play EACH OTHER! From the Region to SB/Elkhart/Mishawaka to the Fort! .
  4. South Adams isn't going up to 2A. They didn't win a Regional nor the State in the past 2 years. Why would they get bumped to 2A? And Linton-Stockton also if memory serves me.
  5. #1. All things are possible when it comes to the IHSAA. #2. No!!! #3. ADVERTISERS someone has to pay/fund this endeavor......
  6. That's not too shabby for a 1A program though. But ya know who now is the "hunter"? Monroe Central... might be a great time to see what the Golden Bears are bringing to the table
  7. Wouldn't say that for SA. But as you know (Lewis Cass)....through the years as a powerhouse. When you see and/or reach the 'summit'....anything less is always looked at as a down year.
  8. I might take 4 of 5. But NO WAY am I considering that those outside of Indy (other than underperforming) are: uninterested or outclassed. Only class 6A is the outlier that those outside of the Indy metro area, can even say in all honesty that they are "outclassed". There aren't enough 6A teams in anything near a proximity to bring the level of competition to that Indianapolis has to offer.
  9. Appears to be #14 of Chatard who gives the "late hit"..... The bottom picture is a nano-second before the impact happens.
  10. Now it's gonna be the longest 1:30 in HS Football..... It was waaaaay too early to not play for the tie.
  11. I totally agree with that! Trust me it will be brought up in their postgame evaluation
  12. A few missed calls that have happened. But (no cop out) the action on the field has negated them as having impact. But ya can't miss a player running onto the field during a try....
  13. Just tuned in to this game. Looks like a 'smoke show' Roncalli is putting on at LOS.
