For my money; Absolutely the BEST Stadium in the FW Area. It doesn't have the Press Box of Lafayette Jeff or Westfield, but it absolutely based upon the designs of both. NACS did multiple visits to these locales in order to design the facility they thought best at this time, and one that could be expanded and/or updated as needed. There is a RIDICULOUS amount of space for visiting teams' coaching staffs, Media and others in the Press Box area. Obviously an elevator to access these areas. The only downside that I have heard from those at Carroll is that they have had issues hearing whistles and the like, because of the "sound-proof" nature of the Press Box.

Absolutely Correct. Now let's again divert from THAT, and focus on the game at Northridge HS. The Raiders are a formidable opponent on a "hot streak", at home, and focused on LOS! If we continue to bring up an incident on 11/5/21, This posting may also be closed. Represent your school, oblivious to the actions previous.... And good luck to all involved!!!

I was there.... TOTALLY different in EVERY WAY. Had absolutely nothing to do with the visiting team, had more to do with the dynamics of the closing of Elmhurst HS and as to how it pertained to FW Wayne Athletics. I am not going to assign blame in this situation, as I truly believe that the powers that be (Game officials in conjunction with the IHSAA) will sort this out and meter out any and all further sanctions. But I would suspect that Ole Miss faithful, need to understand that the outcome may ALSO fall upon the actions of players/coaches/administrators at Mississinewa when this all sorted out.

Haven't seen Valpo, but was REALLY impressed with what MC brought to the table last Friday night. It's always great to hear from those members/posters outside of our "main area" give insight and props to those programs we only see once the playoffs start. Duneland (da Region)/SIAC (SW Indiana) as well as SE Indiana and others are a wonderful insight to the teams that give this special time of year a wonderful time to be a part of!

Sorry, FOX SPORTS is the NATIONAL contract that the IHSAA has signed with. The local affiliate may "broadcast" the game(s), but the IHSAA Finals are brought to you, broadcast by, and produced by FOX SPORTS. Edit: It is now Bally Sports. Fox sold the contract last year. It is that way in numerous sports.

Amen. It may be College FB day. But I will be pulling up the Eastside/Luers game to check it out! Perhaps the Leo/Northridge and Snider/Dwenger also. Big time "upsets (?)" in multiple classes for FW Area teams. THAT'S WHY THEY PLAY THE GAME! Good luck to all the Victors as the tournament goes on.....

NO DOUBT... I expect #62 to be at home next week....as it pertains to Ole Miss. As for WHS, an absolute athletic suspension for the entire sports program. This is NOT the 1st time as situation has happened involving the fans, players etc...

The bolded portion is NOT correct. If you are ejected, pursuant to NFHS rules, you are OUT for the next contest at ALL levels for the week. So if you are a Varsity player...see ya in 2 weeks. As for anything else related to damage, etc... I am sure that the Ole Miss administration will/shall report that to the IHSAA/FWCS for any further renumeration, and or administrative actions. Sad to see that once again, WHS is the initiator of actions that will/may impact its athletic program in such a negative light. Even with the actions of a Mississinewa player (62) perhaps being the instigator of the primary action..... He will be dealt with!

I'd like to see Indiana 'get with the program' and allow communities to merge their FB teams, and allow schools without FB to let their students play for a nearby team.

Not ME... This game has the "sneaky" dominance in the North that many have looked beyond in 2A. I honestly don't see either side as the winner. I just look for a fantastic HS game.
